Thanks so much guys for being so darn supportive! We didn't think we would hear anything for another two weeks or so, so we already bought flights back to the UK March 18th as my hubby is currently visiting me. Kicking ourselves in the butt right now...if we only held out for another two days! And Air Transat will not give refunds and we just don't have the extra cash to forfeit the tickets! My hubby was gobsmacked when he received the email yesterday!

He is going to send it off via special tracking post as soon as he lands in the UK. Unfortunately he is landing Friday morning so he will miss that teeny tiny window of opportunity of handing it in in person in London. One hour window every Thursday and that's it? Does anyone know why?

oh this is all so frustrating!
i really want to see an update today. I dont have access to my personal email in work so every day when I get home i open my email expecting to see something but not yet.. grr!!
Sent the application in October, approved and arrived in London since December 8th. Its gotta be close now!

if i was a month behind id be very positive about mine arriving soon but now that I see mine and Millu's being the last ones im trying to think of what it is that is delaying mine!
i knw all apps are different etc but jeese, c'mon London.,,.,. sort it out!
ps.. mine has been 'in process' since Jan 21st with medicals received.

yeah its a little more stressful now than I had expected. I dont intend on going to Canada til April anyway but I really just want to know its ready. whats the usual waiting time for Buffalo? |
