I think you need to be patient a little bit as the background checks takes longer for non-eu. That is exactly what my wife's MP has informed us a couple of days ago. My applic has been in process since 26 jan 2012 and that is after i was done with the interview. The interview officer said it was approved and it had to go through backgroud checks before they issue the visa. And since then they have been working on it. I called one weak ago and it looks like l have to wait till the end of this month. so be informed that for us who are not from eu the background checks takes a little bit longer. If you dont hear back any thing in two months, you better involve your MP in Canada...

Hi yasiin thx for advice but the problem is my student visa and med both expire frst week may so I have only 2 month so I am very nervous and my case im London office form last oct thx you and pinklady for suggestion when I involve my mp ?

You welcome Imran. I think i am not in a position to advise you what to do with the student visa but the medical you can renew whenver you want. Can you not extend the visa? You can get your MP involved any time you want. All you need is talk to your sponsor to contact her MP. The MP will find out what is taking that long and will get back to you in hours, or may be days depanding how quick London Office responds to her/him.

Hi guy's! could u plz help me in my case, I want apply for spouse visa in Canada, i have gone through the web page and found three part of the application form part-1 for sponsorship form part-2 immigration form part-3 information guide. i understand part -1 need to fill by my wife and part-2 need to fill by myself but i don't understand about part -3? another quires is who is gonna send the application? do i need to send by myself or my wife and where?

porosh pather u did good thing to ask just download all application kit get two copies of it and fill one complete file with led pencil . becarefull with all answers . and the time conusming part is background check . so when u will fill out forms make sure u fill it in sequence make sure what ever institute or department u will state there give there addresses contact number and correct time which you have spend there at least month and year .ist step is easy it will be filled by your wife and then permanent resident application form and then if you are applying from euorap you have to attach another form . that is  there on web site .must pay your right of imigration fee .medical and police certificates from all the countries u lived in more than six month should be valid .

It means they have started processing, background checks could take a while, but at least they are working on your file, so hopefully not too much longer for you.

Imran dont email them it annoyes them unless 7momths get pass .
