Once it says in process, does that mean we are on the homestretch? Ours turned to In Process today, after getting our missing police checks for my husband's dependent kids.
It means they have started processing, background checks could take a while, but at least they are working on your file, so hopefully not too much longer for you. |

HI! pinklady thank's for your information,I just quite wandering,do i need to fill all these 3 part of forms by myself or my wife need to fill part 1 sponsorship forms? do i need to do medical when i apply or they will late me know later on?.................... thank's and waiting for ur reply.
Your wife as the sponsor will need to complete the sponsorship forms (part 1), you the applicant will complete the Immigration forms and the region specific forms (part 2 and 3) However both of you need to sign form IMM1344. You need to do the medical before sending off the application. |

That should be all you need, plus your personal info, name, DOB, address etc.

Hopefully they'll tell you the sponsor application has been approved and the email is MIA.

I hate to be a pain, but how long can "awhile" be?
Sorry  how long is a piece of string? Processing can be anywhere from a couple of days to 6, 7, 8 months. It depends on the background of the person(s). If your husband has only lived in UK and has a clean record it will take less time. The kids shouldnt take too long. The more places people have lived, the longer checks can take. Hopefully yours goes smoothly. |

Yes you drop your passport off at the embassy on Thursday and then 2 weeks later you can go and collect it. |

Well, I've been calling the cic line non-stop for 2 hours trying to get through! Nothing. First it was just busy, then one ring and a busy tone, then 2 rings and a busy tone... AAAARGHHHH....  |
