lillia123, do you mind me asking if you're from a visa-exempt country? (as mentioned in Jeri's previous post --> ""As of December 1, 2011, applicants for permanent residence who have a passport which is visa exempt for travel to Canada no longer require a permanent resident visa in their passport to travel to Canada to become a permanent resident. As you (and your dependents) hold passports from a visa exempt country, we only require a copy of the biographical (picture) pages of your passport(s) in order to issue a Confirmation of Permanent Residence document which is the document required to seek admission to Canada as a permanent resident.") PinkLady or anyone who can reply - if our status says "Decision Made", am I safe to hand in my resignation at work?

Wow, there are so many updates!!
I have added them to the spreadsheet but i've missed anything then please let me know!!
Congratulations, on the PPRS, decision made updates, in process updates and sponsor approval!!
Anna McG PPR = Passport request COPR = Confirmation of Permanent Residence which is the paper you take with you when you land.
Schintz, not sure about handing in resignation. how much notice do you need to give? Personally I would wait to hear from the VO first but its totally your choice. Why not email them? Thats seems to have worked for a few people. Congrats!

WE GOT COPR!!!!!!! It arrived in the post today (we live in Canada).
This is very, very strange as we never got a PPR. Our application arrived at CPC-M on 25 July 2011. We got stage one/sponsor approval on 30 September 2011 (found out via e-mail). The London VO started processing our application on 4 January 2011 (found out via eCAS). And then we got the COPR today (in the mail).
Strange, but wonderful! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
pinklady, I have no idea how you're going to update the chart now. Perhaps you need to add a new column for people who skip PPR and go straight to COPR?

Thanks to everyone, especially pinklady, for the tremendous support (and commiseration). This forum is wonderful! Not sure my sanity would have survived without the Internet...
Others in the process: best of luck!

..oops! I *might* have resigned today.. waited until the very end of the day, but bit the bullet at 5:30 and sent it off! I only got your reply after leaving work. I have to give two months notice though, so loads of time yet.. I hope!
