Getting so close now.
CIC up 1 day to 68 days so I reckon the 18th Jan our first stage should be completed. I must stop counting the days.
Keeping everything crossed that London are nice and prompt.

I am not sure why it went through so fast. We were very surprised. I got the email while I was at work, and had to get a co-worker to read it with me just incase I was reading things. I have known my husband since 1976 and we had a ton of evidence to show the authenticty of our relationship. Apart from that I really don't know. I am hoping the next stage will be fast as well. |

Hope you had a nice festive break!! - Im sooooo excited to see something new against my name on your spreadsheet LOL Looking at the spreadsheet since July '11 it seems the time from sponsor approval to PPR has shortened to pretty much a 2 month average, so that is definately making me smile....Im keeping my fingers crossed we hear that soon!  |

So glad you had a nice time back in Blighty and then in the sunshine.
Just an update and a question on our situation. You many remember that my husband hadt o have extra medicals completed - this (it turned out) was to check for TB. Everything came back clear - hooray and was sent off to London.
Today we got this email:
My Name
This is just to advise, that we have today returned your personal photographs and correspondence, sent by signed for mail to your Canadian address. We will shortly contact your spouse, Husband's Name regarding, the next stage of his Canadian permanent residence application.

Do you think we might dare to hope that the next stage will be a request for his passport details? I can't remember the next stage and now I'm all of a dither!

Hi everyone, and welcome back pinklady!
I have a question regarding the medicals. I keep reading in forum posts that people are trying to land in canada before the medicals expire. How long are the medical results valid? A little worried because my husbands were done back in July but we only filed our application in November. Does this mean that if he hasn't been granted PR by next July that he will have to have them done again? What are the full implications here?
