Congrats! What the nice lady at the post office probably didn't tell you though is that Canada post will not track your package after it leaves Canada. I've already received my passport back and landed, but my Canada Post tracking of my passport still doesn't say it has arrived in London. It only says "international item left Canada". So be aware that you won't know what's going on with your passport once it leaves the country if you use Canada Post.

Thanks Alasken! That's very useful to know! Did you add a signature to yours though? I was told you can make it 'signed for' for an extra $2 or so, think I'm going to do that.

Right, I'm off to post this important envelope!

I shipped a section I forgot to sign for the application and CIC mississauga told me to ship it straight to London. I did this Nov 2 and canada post last update was shipped out of canada. Been like this for 2 weeks now. Does any know if they update for received overseas parcel?

Did you use Canada post? I believe they stop tracking when the item leaves Canada.

Yep I had them require a signature on the receiving end for it, but it still did not track properly and I never got a confirmation that someone signed for it.

Wow, never heard of that before. Have you ordered CAIPS notes? http://immipedia.ca/Ordering_FOSS_and_CAIPS_notes

Also there is a list of possible interview questions....
