simdlee - Great news! hopefully you'll get the long awaited PPR very soon!!!

TGR - I have updated the spreadsheet, thanks! When/Where will your husband be landing?

Pinklady, my husband will be landing in Toronto hopefully around early to mid February. We're having a religious wedding ceremony in Ireland in December just before New Years, so I do get to see him for a week between now and February- it's not the greatest, but I'm grateful that I don't have to wait until Feb to see him.

simdlee...how did they notify you?

i'm really concerned that they MAY have sent PPR to our old address...
as our old address is still showing on e-cas despite my best attempts to communicate with them.
i initially wrote snail mail, then i filled in the on-line form...
and waited
then i went into e-cas and changed the form there...
still nothing, have sent them case specific enquiry now so fingers crossed  Sad

Fingers crossed for you mittens.  You have the patience of a saint - I am starting to get impatient and it's only been a couple of months.

It just seems so close and yet so far away.  If we could just get the first part under our belt, I'd feel like it was moving....

Hope you hear something from your case specific enquiry and sprinkling positivity dust to everyone Smiley

I wanna be an update on the spreadsheet!!!!  ARGH!  Stay calm and it will all happen LOL!

Question to those that might know...can I assume that if we got PPR that our application is approved? - even though eCas still says in process?  I mean can they really decline us now?

Hey guys, I had a quick question I was wondering someone could help me with: My husband needs to get 2 photos taken (to Canadian visa specs) to submit with his passport. Anyone know where can he go in London to get it done for relatively cheap?

Thanks for that simdlee- I asked him and he said it would cost his 15 pounds for him to get out there because he lives in west London, so it doesn't really work out cheaper in the end. Thanks for the tip anyway Smiley  !

Hi Everyone,

We just got a letter requesting my passport which is awesome. I have a few questiosn though:

1) They say they need teh passport within 45 days but I am actually flying away with work mid november fro a week and I am also flying home for x-mas, do you think I could just send my passport 2nd January or should it go straight away.

2) Also we need to enetr Canada on or before April 11th 2012, Do we need to stay there once we enter opr can we fly in for the weekend, we currently live in BERMUDA and had planned on leaving April 30th.

Thanks in advance,
