Hey Pinklady, Thanks for the speedy reply! Unfortunately for us, they did not mention any dates and said they'll contact us in due time. The problem is i'm in Toronto now and was hoping so send my passport via Canada post like everyone else does  |

Thats the risk with applying outland from Canada. If you do need an interview you have to travel for it.
Perhaps you could reply to the email asking for an interview date? Or ask if there is anything else in the way of proof that you could mail to them rather than travel for an interview since you are in canada and hoping to start a course in Sept. Its worth a shot.
Other than that, I am not sure I see a way around travelling to stockholm for the interview.

London seems to be moving along quite quickly. I got an update too  PERMANENT RESIDENCE - IN PROCESS
We received XXX's application for permanent residence on June 17, 2011.
We started processing your application on June 20, 2011.
Medical results have been received.London confirmed receiving our CSQ last week so it shouldn't be too long now... really pleased so far  Patiently waiting for PPR so my husband & I can book the day off work to travel to London  |

This is so frustrating! I'm sitting here watching people in the London office getting 'in process' updates for applications received the same day or after mine was received and nothing has changed on my e cas. I'm hoping that I'm just one of the unlucky ones who doesn't get regular updates for some reason!

London wrote on my ecas(the sponsor) that they received the app in March 11 and started process in July 20th..but we didnt even send the application in Mar.We applied to mississauga in April. i take it they made mistake and wrote Mar 11 instead of Jul 11.  hahaha |

are u the sponsor or applicant. coz my husbands(applicant) ecas doesnt show anything.It was only updated on mine today and im the sponsor . He didnt get anything no update no email no letter.

How long does it usually take before one can click on "Permanent Residence Application Status" on eCAS after your sponsor application has been approved? Ours was approved July 11th but no info at all on if London Office received our application or not. |

I so feel for you. I have been waiting to hear good news from you. I can't imagine paying and then having them not finding it. Oh DEAR! I would be ready to march over there and wave the receipt and anything else I could get my hands on to them. haha. |
