I think she was fobbing me off in all honesty. She did say it was now on it's way to London though, but surely that's not the standard route. Oh well, atleast I get my 70dollers back at the end of it!

Hi this is normal as most packages come from U.S to U.K so they send them there first and from there whole lot comes to U.K |

Hey guys, I send my passport yesterday and prepaid special delivery back to scotland. Question...How long does it take (I know they say it take up to 6 weeks bla blah blah...) But I need to quit my job, go visit my parents as I am not UK citizen and then come back and fly from glasgow...need to buy tickets for august now....you think I should go ahead and buy them?  |

Recently it has been taking around 6 weeks to get the passport back. The only way to guarantee the turnaround is to drop it off by hand at London, but since you've already sent it you'll have to wait. Mine took 39 days total from posting it to getting it back, but, I am in Canada.
Can anyone else comment on their timeline for receiving passport back?

I have received another email from London office asking that i need to send them the Police certificate within last one month. They are taking mick of my case, as i have sent them one month and 10 days ago.
Now i have to arrange another one................

Congrats mittens, normally address is mentioned on the sponsorship approval letter or e-mail, you may have missed that, it is, THE CANADIAN HIGH COMMISSION IMMIGRATION SECTION 38 GROSVENOR ST.
