Got my passport request visa e-mail today, 6days after decision made. I can't believe it, amazing news!!!!!

Hi Everyone,
I tell you a bit background first:
I got an email from them on 15th May asking for the interview to the london office:
I am in Canada on Visit visa
My UK visa has expired
I sent them the email and documentary evidences that i cant come back to UK coz i dont have visa anymore for UK.
So today i got another email from them that in order to further process my case they require the following documents:
1) Up to date Police Certification (Original)
2) Original Passport
Could anyone have any idea or experience that they did not told me that my case is weather approved or not and asked for the Passport? I am very worried for this. I did provide them the Police certificate when we sent case to Canada for the first stage.
Can anyone please tell me how long is police certificate valid as mine old one did not expired and i have original copies already with me.
Plz plz plz reply me as i want some sort of advice or ideas or reasoning. It seems that they have accepted for the waving the interview.....
Do they always ask for the passport like this as i did not got any approval?
I will wait for anyone reply here

Hi Naz, I believe they asked for the passport to issue you the visa so I think its a good news actually, ordering a UK police certificate from overseas isnt that difficult, it has all the instructions on guidance forms provided with the Application forms and you can have it in just over 10 days or even less than that if you order premium service. |

Kelle I think any Photoshop should be able to I think shoppers drug might be cheap. Kelley another question they asked for my passport but did not ask for any pics . Hello everyone!
Quick question, my husband sent all our immigration forms recorded, signed for express post from Cold Lake to Mississauga on the 6th.
It was supposed to arrive on the 8th and has not.
Has anyone had any problems with lost immigration post? We have asked them to investigate ASAP.......
Will I need to redo my medical??? if it is not found....... This is all Crazy.
Pinklady you may have to remove my date of the 8th!!

Thanks guys, I will have a look into Walmart and Blacks to see who can give me the best deal I found Walmart to be quite pricey actually. I went to a small independent place that did them for half the cost and gave me a deal because I had to get so many. |

Hi, I have finally sent my documents including original passport and police certificate to London office through recorded delivery. In my case it is very strange that ecas still showing "in process" so no "decision made" but they have asked for my original passport. Is that correct that they only ask the original passport if your case is approved?  ? All sorts of emotions are running inside me, as i have been waiting from Nov 2010 when my case was transferred to London office. PINKLADY please update the spreadsheet for me, the way it looks that they have waived the interview, my details are as under: File arrived in UK: 26th Nov 2010 Other: Wedding pictures came back on March 2011 Interview: Request for the interview on 17th May 2011 Other: sent them the letter explaining why i cant come to UK for the interview Passport: Request for passport and police certificate on 15th June 2011. Now its again waiting game what they will do, HOPEFULLY they will return my passport with the stamp on it lol. I have asked sent them the returned envelope for UPS so that they can return me the documents safely. Regards, Nazam |
