That's great! They might send it by mail as well! So give it couple days.
Stay strong there!

I forgot today was a UK bank holiday ...doubtful we'd receive anything today ...doesnt help the stress levels regardless ... Sad Undecided

All of our updates have been via ecas with the exception of 1 letter from Mississauga; we haven't received anything by email - is this normal? I see a lot of people receive updates via email so just wanted to check.

cheers.

Finally i can say it, i am officially landed immigrant!

Saturday we went to U.S to do some shopping and on our way back. Going to U.S was super simple and easy, officer was really nice for us.
Coming back was amazing. We had quite a bit shoppings but we didnt have to pay any taxes when coming to canada. Officer just confirmed that all the information is right and then i signed and he welcomed me to canada.

Congrats all of you who got PPR and fingers crossed if you are still waiting!

You are not gonna get rid off me tho, im gonna hang around here and see how you are doing! hopefully can help some of you as well!!

Congratulations! My hubby also landed this past Thursday! So happy!  Cheesy

Thank you thats a bit help, i hope it goes through quick.
Just one more question once you get you PR how long do you have to land?
Thanks again u confirmed im not going completely mad lol. Cheesy

I assume you mean how long i have time to complete the landing after i get my passport with a visa on it?
Visa is valid until your medicals or passport expires, which ever is earlier. Medicals are valid 1 year.

Oh no!!! I've suddenly realised that I'm going to miss something from the UK!! After a fabulous sunny long weekend I have just realised that I only have 1 more bank holiday beer weekend on Brighton beach!! Anyone that's done it will understand, if you haven't then make sure you do if you're ever on the Sough Coast!!

Our ECAS states since Saturday that a decision has been made regarding my husbands PR. And I have been told that its the typical norm that London emails the applicant when a decision has been made (which I might add has not happened yet) ...I have checked our application about 500 times to make sure my husbands email address was on the application and it was spelled correctly (yes i know, a bit obsessive) ...So is it the typical norm to email or is London known just to do that for a select few and mail the other select few ...I'm absolutely going insane    Undecided Cry ..The only comfort I have is watching the forums, knowing there are others out there in the exact same predicament as myself ...it doesn't lower my stress levels tho ...any insight into this?

Does anybody know how long should we wait before emailing them about this ..the only client id we have to go by is mine as the sponsor and who would we typically contact in regards to this ...i know im probably jumping the gun on this but stress levels are in the red and its making life literally impossible for the both of us, knowing we are just within reach of each other yet being pulled away in separate directions by immigration ...

I would wait until at least Monday to see if you get a letter. Unfortunately though, all you can do is try to be patient.
Good luck, I really hope you hear something soon!

You'll be okay the email should be sent soon. In our case my husband received the passport request email and then ECAS was updated. It's all random and it depends on the officer reviewing your case I guess. But I wouldn't stress too much as you'll find out what the decision is soon and I reckon that it's a PR as well.
