Has anybody here landed in Montreal at the local CIC office? I just wanna get an idea of what kind of wait times they have for an appointment? Not having a car makes it a little difficult to get to the border. I have read their wait times are pretty long in which case I will just find a way to the border. Also can you book an appointment before you get your passport back?

Maybe we can do a border run if the timing works? Smiley

We should run a minibus of people landing. They would love that at the border!

Hi MDSB,

Morning!

If you log into ecas it will say "we received your application to sponsor MDSB on July 28 2011....." etc.
Thats also what we use as the AOR (acknowledgement of receipt).

Thanks Simdlee!
My wife received the PPR via regular mail at her Swedish address. The ecas is updated to "Decision Made" but shows no details regarding Passport Request.
Hope this helps and good luck with your PPR :-)
Thanks Jaskp1! The 50 day wait time sucks. Sad In many cases however, the actual processing time is faster than the announced number so you might just receive it sooner. Smiley

Thanks!! I hope it happens soon Smiley

Hi MDSB,

How did you find out when London got your application?

Thanks

Morning!

Hi Morning - exactly what pinklady said...
It took 15 days after sponsorship approval to reach London and another 14 after that for it to appear on eCAS.

If you log into ecas it will say "we received your application to sponsor MDSB on July 28 2011....." etc.
Thats also what we use as the AOR (acknowledgement of receipt).

Hi

Strange things are happening to m. LOnion office dnt know wt they are doing. I received my passport back from London office along with the rejection letter. They have also cancelled my visitor visa for the next five months. I am in Canada with my wife. The reason was rejection is that you did not came for the interview. I requested to withdraw the application about month ago before they made decision. So legally they should withdraw it. I have appeal right but then legally I can't stay in Canada. So I have decided to reapply within Canada and also apply for visitor permit. According to h&c they can't send me away from my wife a I am determine to fight.

Any advice from this forum will be highly appreciable

10 days after PPR, ecas was updated to decision made.

Glad the passport is in London, and hoping for the next 2 weeks to fly by.

Thank you to everyone who has posted what to expect when going to London. It did sure help to show up early.

Thanks for all the messages of congratulations guys Smiley

My passport just arrived in London this morning, now just the last stretch of waiting to go.

It is good to see so many PPR's suddenly come through. For the people who applied in May it will be your turn in no time at all.
