Hey everyone - great forum!
I'm working on my application and have a question for ya:

I've been married for almost 8 years to my Canadian wife - I plan on sending bank statements of joint accounts to "prove" our relationship as well as marriage certificates (both UK and Canadian). Do I also need photos, cards, correspondence, all that jazz? I guess "need" is not the right word, but it would be a mighty PITA to dig up all of that.

Also for those of you who sent in photos, did you have digital photos printed?
THANKS a lot!!

It is good practice to send "all that stuff" - so, yes, you need it. You have to take this really seriously.
Many people place digital pictures in a word file or a PDF. and print that, no DVD's, CD's etc to be sent with the application.

Excellent - thanks very much for that! In addition to what you said, I found a great thread on this here - canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t61283.0.html

I know how frustrating it is when you are waiting for passport back.

I they received mine on 20th January and sent it back on 15th February which was almost 4 weeks, although I must admit I did send them an email and ask them when it would be returning and they did reply within 24 hours quite politely. So if you're really worried, just give them an email.

Hey MandiF,

when they replied to your email, enquiry, what did they say? And how long after it was received in London did you send the email?

Just to be clear, your arrived in london on jan 20th and was delivered to your friends house on feb 15th? or was posted from london on feb 15th?

Thanks
