hi al dear frnd and non uk national i am also in same boat i am pakistani national on student visa my case in same chc london office al dear frnds hsbalouch and scab i would b thx if u people guide me a bit my csae detail are..... sent to mississauga on 2 aug... send to chc london 18 oct.... decision made on spouse approval on 30 nov.... strat processing for ppr on 2 dec ...then i received mail from chc london req more document on 15 dec my ques is my visa is expire on 1 may my med expire on 3may i am a bit worried when i check the time line of u people so when i will get ppr and beceose i have only 4 month visa then i will go back to pak...what should i do should i inform chc london when i am going back home plssssssssssssssss guide me thx

cant you get your visa extended if you have to? because honestly I have no idea how long it's gonna take them to issue you the visa
have you provided them with the requested documents already? because sometimes they send ppr request right after receiving the requested documents but in our case since we are foreign nationals and especially pakistani, they run security checks from both countries and anyother country where we have lived for more than 6 months.

if you have provided them with the requested documents then I will suggest you to wait for couple of months, after couple of months if you dont hear from them involve your MP to get the latest update on your case, because transfering your case to another country is not that easy and it will take some extra time to process your application
I sent them the requested document almost a month ago and yet to hear anything from them, but I guess it was holiday season which is why everything seems frozen, lol
hoping to hear from them soon, good luck to you too!

MP is a member of parliament, ask your spouse to contact her MP, you will need to provide her with an authority letter to release the information about your case.
you can enquire yourself by emailing on this email address:

                                                re-london-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca

make sure you include your immigration file number and your DOB in your email!
