I hope so too! Not a rush to update the spreadsheet. Just want to share with others for their reference. Thanks ddobro2! Good news. And re: your PM, I'll update you once I have a chance to log in to the other account.

Yes, I think 10 posts make you a member and then you can add the timeline underneath your name or add a signature. I believe you need something like another 5 posts.

The 'Case Specific Enquiry' also allows you to upload a document (.jpg, .pdf, .txt, or .doc) that is less than 3.5 MB. https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=buffaloSend a copy to them by mail and fax them another copy. Make sure your visa file number is on the cover pages. Then confirm they received it.

Only one more to go after this then! Our timeline depresses me, though. Do I really want to see it every time I post? lol We are definitely going out to celebrate when my husband finally gets that much-awaited email. It will be a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. Yes, I think 10 posts make you a member and then you can add the timeline underneath your name or add a signature.

Not sure if it's a good news or bad news... just received an email an hour ago, my application is now transferred to New York. And it says, "Do not request the status of your file within ninety (90) days of the date of this letter."
Judging by the spreadsheet I've got going, it's good. Can I ask if you are inside or outside Canada?

I wish they'd transfer our file so that someone would actually do something about it. It must be collecting dust in a corner somewhere.

I second that motion.I wish mine would get transfered also then maybe it would finaly get done.I thought paying the fees up front was suppose to speed up the process because thats what I did and nope sure didnt help one bit.

Great. Never tried it myself. I guess the point is to not do one thing exclusively as that is putting all your eggs in one basket. Sending documents multiple ways and multiple times and confirming receipt or getting your MP to do so is the best way to deal with Buffalo given its tendencies. As far as MPs are concerned, I've heard from one person on this thread that his communications to Buffalo were not noted in GCMS notes whereas his MPs' communications were; and from another person or maybe a few others I heard that Buffalo magically "found" missing documents as soon as they received a message from the MP saying that documents that were now being requested had in fact been submitted at the very beginning.

It says: "You may use this form if: You wish to report important changes regarding your application, such as births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions, changes in address, changes in employment, acquisition of a new educational credential, results of an approved language test."We had a baby in October. Do we need to inform them?

I picture a IO with a desk piled high with immigration packages with inches of dust. Mumbling to himself " "I'll get to this later" ..... If they only knew many of us put our lives on hold and wait wait wait I wish they'd transfer our file so that someone would actually do something about it. It must be collecting dust in a corner somewhere.

Yes, even though the baby is a Canadian citizen, you need to inform them of any changes in your family composition. Congratulations! It says: "You may use this form if: You wish to report important changes regarding your application, such as births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions, changes in address, changes in employment, acquisition of a new educational credential, results of an approved language test."

Thank you! I will use that form to tell them about our baby and also to ask if they have received the RPRF. Maybe they will pick up our file!
