I actually got a letter in the mail yesterday (to my bf) that the CAIPS will not be ordered yet because he didn't send in the $5...so I don't need them anyways though eeeeeeK! |

No everyone's ECAS updates consistently or at all. Hopefully it will when they complete the transition to GCMS. But don't stress about it for now. You are still early in the process. I'm gonna say the "dirtiest" word in immigration - patience!
Indeed I e-mailed Buffalo to inquire about our medicals and CSQ, and they actually wrote me back! Apparently they are processing applications received on January 12th at the moment. So, it'll probably be two months before we hear from them. It's good to know, though... |

Grats Kerianne.
In the latest saga with our passports, Buffalo emailed me that they were returned the 29th.
The return tracker isn't active yet, and they aren't here, so I'm hoping that this means that whatever process they use to move things between Buffalo and Fort Erie might take a day or two, and that maybe we'll see it pop up on tracking later today.

We have NO idea what is holding up our file. Our Bring Forward date was Feb 3.. we received our CAIPS mid-March. As far as we can tell his medical was top notch and his RCMP record check was clear. We are probably just still in a pile somewhere but it's hard to watch everyone get PPR when we applied in June last year.
Hopefully you're next after me!! I was from last April (2010)! Thanks again everybody! I am going to mail off my passport tomorrow after I get my pictures done. Now I need to get all my ducks in a row so I can get my PR card and whatnot. I've been dancing and singing ALL day! LOL The funny thing is, I totally did not expect it. Ecas still says in process...big suprise there. Not. |
