Happy to announce that my baby girl finally arrrived on March 18th Her name is Lamya. Still hard to believe that all this immigration stuff got done before she was born, since we we cutting it so close with the interview. Ironically I recieved my PR card the night I went to the hospital so now everything is complete Baby and PR. Congrats on new baby jmni1! I wish Buffalo would email or put an update on ecas so we know when our passport and visa are on the way back. I've been obsessively checking the return envelope's tracking number and it's driving me nuts. |

I had emailed Buffalo regarding photo specs if they could clarify something regarding them. The email is for general questions. This was as general as it gets.
The response I got which I find hilarious "We do not offer individual counseling". Really? Why have an email for questions if you're not allowed to answer them lol. So glad I'm done with s***.

Kelkel..that's pretty funny! Little story here, I realized that after I faxed my CAIPS request, and signed a letter for consent so that my sponsor could request it...I left the consent letter with only the B for my Buffalo File number..lol. So I called the Access to Info/Privacy info request toll free line...and when I was put on hold, they had the NUTCRACKER playing... I found it funny because the whole experience is nutcracking..and it's Christmas music isn't it?? It's the beginning of spring for goodness sake!! (I knew since I had the B# on the form that it would be okay, I just wanted to make sure.) Also, even though I had faxed it yesterday, she said that it won't be entered into the system for a day or two. She said that she could search through the stack of faxes, but I said that wasn't necessary...so a heads up, if you order CAIPS and fax it, you can add on at least a day or two before it will even get recognized.. |

Well probably my last post here
just updating my wife sent her passport by mail and received it back with the visa last saturday and we plan to make her landing April 3rd however she will move definitively at the end of june. Since of the 3 months wait for health care we are trying to make sure she sees all the doctor before the move.

Do not give up things will work out for you too... let's put it that way they gave us 1 extra year on the medical and it took only 9 open days for them to send us back the passport by mail.. of course the envelope was express mail took only 1 day to get to my wife post office.
