I think thats just the maximum time! They changed the way the site looks and its just stating the mamimum time. I think people will still be getting through just as fast Dont worry SaugaBoss you'll be next! Our whole session from sending out the application to PPR was five months to the day.

Waitmer alot of files in Buffalo take much shorter than the 11 months they're not stating so I won't even look at that. Anyhow I'm just in the beginning so Ive got a wait ahead of me yet

Congratulations!
I think the landing inside Canada (in Toronto, for example) is for Inland Applications only?
Apparently, if you make an appointment with the nearest office, you can land anywhere in Canada even if the application is outland.

My passport with its shiny PR visa arrived today! It took 2 weeks to get to Fort Erie and back.
Now all that's left is the actual landing.
Good luck to everyone, and thank you all so much for your support and guidance throughout this process.

well for some kind of positive update someone from my MP office called me. They asked me for supplemental informations. They will sent to Buffalo a request for information to know what's the holdup. He was saying to me "didn't they told you it usually take 6-12 months" i replied that people from July are receiving their ppr... so anyway they will help me
Now on the bad side they needed both our birthdays sadly i never wanted the prople from my surrounding (my town) to know that my wife was older than me by quite a few years, it is still strangely seen when the wife is older than the man. Well the guy that called me is from my town. Oh well another reason to leave my village once my wife is allowed in Canada lol
but at least i can say i will have some news else than me being in an early depression lol

I got a request for the Permanent Residence fees late last week... and also a request for the 'Statutory Declaration of Common Law Union' form, which of course we were told we didn't need when we called and asked about it before sending in our application Also it says they have "confirmation that you have completed your medical examination however we are still awaiting receipt of the results." They say I don't have to do anything, but does anyone think I should get Ottawa to send them over anyways?? I can't imagine the exams results take 4 months to come in.. They're honestly probably sitting in the office somewhere, I did a change of address over a month and a half ago and they're STILL sending things to my old address. Hopefully this means it won't be much longer though!

I just realized that the instructions asked for the height and eye color for me! Eeek. Should I email Buffalo and hope that works?

Hopefully this means it won't be much longer though! Our letter from B'lo said the same thing about awaiting medical results. I think it is just their generic patter that they send out. I called CIC and they said the results go in to a database that the visa office just accesses. You wont receive the results of the medical - they only go to CIC

Anyone have their item end up attempted to be delivered on Saturday - and then an invoice notice left that they have to pick it up at the office?
Ugh, stressing myself out!
