Hello All,

Finally got the medicals done today. The doctor was very patient, understanding and helpful. Here's a quick question though. Does he send the medical results (imm 1017) directly to buffalo or mississauga first?

Just wondering!

Thanks
Adi

Yey, that you've completed that step. They medicals will be sent to Ottawa and Buffalo requests them later on.

K, cool. Thanks for that info!! Smiley

Juz came across this info on the cic website:
submit copy 1 of the IMM 1017 EFC and the rest of the medical examination documents to the regional medical office. Copy 2 must be returned to the applicant along with Appendix C: Medical Instructions as proof that the medical examination was completed and for return to the applicant's sponsor in Canada
source: dmdp-handbook from cic website

is this true that the doc gives appendix C back with copy 2 of 1017??

pls advise!

Oh..k, I guess I need to ask for it from the doctor. Did they sign or stamp on appendix C? I mean, if not I could just download another one and submit.

He did absolutely nothing with mine - I thought he was supposed to take it so I handed it to him but he refused and said no and said it was for me to keep.

Well another month over.  November is at our door, today we had our first snow, my wife was visiting and she was complaining it was too early lol.

I hope that november will bring door news to all of us so that we may have our better half with us in Canada in time for christmas and new year.

AOR from Buffalo on Sept.10

And they waived the interview for now so lets see whats next.

Hi Dralon,

Did you try to contact consulate to find out why your case is taking so much time?

Is Quebec normally a longer process?
I quickly tried ot find information about it, but my kids are yelling for me.

I hope you hear something soon.

i finally decided to order caips notes with the visa office file (i heard on this forum that it delays the process to order the entire file but the CIC says it does not!) i also sent a fax to CSIS to check the status of my background check and am mailing 2 written letters to complain to the SIRC and CSIS

and i think we havent been gettin PPR in this forum bc a lot of apps r from July and so on. I think theres only 3/4 of us from Feb-June

So far i think it is the case... for the sponsorship part many people got it in a month but only 3 had to wait more and we were all from Quebec.  Of course when i called them, they denied it totally saying it was impossible since all cases were put in order... they lied or the people we talk to are misinformed... so in a way i figure sadly the same curse must be following for Buffalo
