that makes me laugh i thought i was impatient about hearing from Buffalo  4 month officially the 26 of september and no news whatsoever... seems they hate me and my wife or they dislike application from quebec That's not very encouraging! Maybe they think Quebec is spoiled...lol. I read there was a big article in some magazine that ruffled a lot of feathers about that. Well anyway I HOPE that immigrating to Quebec doesn't delay the process TOO much. Going to Montreal myself. Hope you hear something soon Dralon! I was finally able to log into eCAS today and see that a decision was made on my wifes sponsorship so I can't help but be a little happy today.  |

Buffalo visa office is closed on Wednesdays!  What profession has Wednesday's off?  Please someone tell me that Buffalo is only closed to the public on Wednesdays and that all the staff works very hard on Wednesdays to get PR's to people. right!?! Nope, those are the posted Buffalo Visa office hours. I'm sure that they would have included a Saturday or Sunday in that list if they did work more days. I'm with you Kess, I went into the wrong line of work. I work 50 hours a week! 32 hour work week sounds pretty good. Short hours with lots of benefits, government is the way to go. Blech, is right! Sorry for being so cynical folks. I'm just a little bitter right now. Cherlyn, hang in there. It must be next week. |

Cross-post ...Got my PR visa yesterday. It took 2 emails from me and a call from an MP rep for them to mail the passport back. We put a comlaint in that it was unreasonable for the NYC office to give me 25 days to mail the passport in while having the luxury of 30 business days to mail it back to me without giving the applicants the option of getting the Visa in person. Plus I had a situation where I really needed my passport. I will make my hubby file more complaints about the system once I land  I figure that when the complaint comes from a constituent it has more weight. They system needs to change! |

Cherlyn, I was trying to think of ways of making you feel better. I wish that I could make our PPR's magically appear. But all I've got is this. Have you ordered a CAIPS File check yet. I just ordered mine a few days ago. They said it can take up to a month for them to get the notes to you, but hell, wouldn't you like to know what the heck is holding things up?
