By the say, did you see my note that they may ask to see your title or bill of sale when you land with your B4? Also, I would add it to the B4 not B4A since there's a special section for cars asking for specific details. And be sure to check goods to follow. So I should use the B4 instead of the B4A even tho Im not bringing anything with me at this time?Maybe Ill make 2 copies of both and see which one they want lol. When I called them they didnt say I needed to bring the title but I have it with me so I will take it to be safe.

If you aren't bringing anything with you this time around, it's even easier. Use the B4 and check the goods to follow on it with the B4 as overflow. Make sure you check goods to follow on each B4A from too (top right corner). The car definitely goes on the B4 since they have a special section for conveyances where you put in vin number, etc. Yes, when I called they didn't say anything about the title either but they did ask for it and then I saw them ask everyone for it when we went back inside when we actually imported the car. Honestly, I think it stems from confusion for returning residents needing to own it for 6 months prior which doesn't apply to immigrants but have also heard it is to make sure it really is your car at that time since they are approving it for future duty free importation. Either way, I figure rather safe than sorry

These are just some thoughts based on the information available, what I've read, and my experience. I am not an expert; if you want the facts, cic.gc.ca has a wealth of information. Good luck with your application! Hope you have a wonderful day *smile*

Hi there! Thanks for all the useful information, I love this forum.
I decided to add my timeline -- in part also because I see only few cases of people going to Quebec! You can include me in your spreadsheet.
Category: FAM Visa Office: Buffalo Med's Done: Oct-15-2011 App. Filed: Dec-22-2011 Spons. Acc.: Feb-10-2012 CSQ: ? (sent forms Apr-26-2012) Passport Req.: ?
The CIC website states that THEY will make sure MICC sends me forms to fill out in order to get the CSQ. I never got the forms after 2 months! I got impatient and decided to see what was up on the MICC website. and learned that I could print out the forms myself and send the application as long as I joined a copy of my sponsorship acceptance letter. I wish I had known that before!! Anyway, I fedex'd it to Montreal today.
On my eCAS, the second column still says "application received".
Thanks!
Canadian citizen living in US on J1 visa (physician in training) Married US citizen in Sept 2011 Living together since then Move to Quebec set for July 1st (whether PR is obtained or not! my job starts on July 2nd. my wife may need to continue the wait as a "tourist"!)

Might have to wait until GOGOGO gets back, I have spreadsheet access but Google Docs won't let me in!

Hi everyone!! If someone can give me an opinion based on experience, It will be greatly appreciated. In 02/11/12, I received a letter saying our file was sent to Buffalo, no communication has been sent after that, and as I can read from other comments this is common. My status in e-Cas is:"application received". While reading this forum I went to a link that took me to a form to request information.what I got back in 24 hours was: "....Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time. We thank you for your patience. Regards, Canadian Consulate General Buffalo Immigration Section.........." Does this means my application is in process and the e-Cas page has not being updated?

It does mean In Process, but e-Cas is barely reliable.. if your file was already transferred to Buffalo just wait actual contact for PPR, being In Process on e-Cas after transfer doesn't really mean anything in the bigger picture.
