Ok, I have a question and wondering if someone can advise. This might be a stupid question, and I might even probably know the answer to it. However, I think at this point, I'm just looking for strings to grasp at in the hopes that it might help. Please, bare with me. So, I applied outland. I am in Canada now on a visitor's record. I am wondering if it might be worthwhile or if I in fact should send a case specific enquiry to VO to let them know the address change here in Canada (it is the same address as sponsor's addy listed on app.) However, I do have family at the original address I listed in my pr app so I'm not worried about any mail being sent there as I will be notified. In my "trying to be patient but feel like I'm going crazy more and more everyday" mindset, I think I'm just looking/hoping for some response about anything remotely related to my file. I am sure I will just get a standard reply back. However, is this something that I NEED to let them know. Or, do you think this is not a big deal. Should I not "bother them" with my email and just keep waiting? Thanks for any help and advice!
How long has it been since you applied? I don't think the address change is necessary (I stayed in Canada while applying Outland using my parents address in the US). Very little if anything came to that address that was actionable as pretty much everything is done by email these days.

If there is someone there at your address than its no big deal if you change it or not.I just changed mine recently and have been In Canada for over a year now.You can actualy change your address on the cic website which I did and I also sent them a specific inquiry email with the change also.

They stamped it under my visitor record stamp. It's a round blue stamp and they stapled my copy of the COPR on this page.

Gman, Calgary-Bound, and Gypsy...Thanks so very much for your replies and help!! I thought you all might say what you did! I *think* subconciously I was hoping that someone would say "Sure, go ahead, send that inquiry, bother the heck out of them until you hear something" BUT, I know that's not the way it works. I will continue *trying* to stay positive and patiently waiting Thanks, again, so much for the help!

Interesting, my eCAS now says In Process and that they started processing April 5, 2012, meaning it took them exactly (just!) one week to issue a PPR! Seems quick but then again my case should be super simple!

I am reading alot of posts, alot of good news for people getting their PPR requests, & that is promising and so wonderful for you all.. But it seems like some who applied after me are getting this PPR request and I grow more impatient and anxious each day. Is there even a question in here? lol .. sorry, just feeling frustrated that ecas doesnt change from "in process" , I want my husband home. & I know you all are going through or have gone through the same thing.. Patience is a virtue, or so they say, that which I seem to be lacking more and more as each day goes by.. ok done venting. Happiness to all.

Lasier, We applied a bit after you and are still application received, medical results received on e-cas but according to our gcms notes the application has been in process since December. So, as most people have mentioned, I would order your notes, they're actually a pretty informative read, once you understand what they mean.

Lasiar, We are in the same boat, as you, also. Filed end of September. I know it's hard. I'm feeling the same way. Everyday the waiting gets harder and harder. I try to consider myself lucky in that there are people who have been waiting a lot longer than me. It stinks for all of us...whether we are waiting for one month or 20! Let's hope we hear some good news soon! All the best to you and everyone!

5 COPRs in my hands They did extend the medicals until Dec 10, 2012 and we have until Dec 9, 2012 to land. We are leaving on Saturday to go to Oregon to get my things, and will land on the way back around Wednesday. So relieved! Off to get packing (this long of a trip with 4 kids takes a lot of planning LOL)
