Thanks! Again, I know it doesn't matter now, but my husband actually owns our guild's vent server and we somehow couldn't figure it out before sending our application.  Roll Eyes

And yes, we still play. We're both doing more Minecraft now, though, at the moment.

Oh lol  No problem!!  My CL loves Minecraft.  I wanna start playing it myself to be honest but we're going back to WoW since we've been off the game for around a year. o.O;

Also... increase in days??

If your study major was in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics ) field than you can extend 17 more months after the first 12 months.
 I did that after my undergrad since I was a chemical engineer. But I went back to Business School for a master degree so now I can't extend my OPT after working for the first 12 months. I didn't bother to ask my employer to sponsor H1B visa because I thought I would get Canadian PR by the end of my OPT ( this coming June) and I really wanted to reunion with my husband in Canada as soon as possible.. Hopefully it will still become true Smiley.  But I think I should still apply for canadian visitor visa to prepare for the worst !
thank you for your advice !

Thanks homi2285.

Pardon my ignorance, can US OPT be extended?

A lot of people waiting out in Canada as visitor.  It's good to be able to live with the significant other, though not being able to work etc can be quite boring and painful over time.  It'd be good if you can be prepared and try to get something to do to occupy your mind while waiting.

So... Finally just after one year of Buffalo receiving my application, and it being transferred to NYC, I have a passport request. I think It was kinda forced because I b*tched at NYC, basically asking WTF. Now, a form to fill out and more pics to have done as this process seems to come to an end.

About to send mine out today, crossing my fingers! I'm not in so much of a rush though now as I don't plan to land until early June anyways.

CONGRATULATIONS The Franchise!  You are one of those I'm so eager to turn you into GREEN on the spreadsheet!  All the best with all those last steps!

PS: Isn't it funny that their standard email says "The processing of your application APPEARS complete at this time".  Can they be more certain? Smiley

Don't you need to fill out a simple form to provide address+name+dob+height+eye color and provide more pics (I was asked for 4)?  I thought it's quite normal for PPR.

Just a question about the landing process.. what do you need to bring besides the COPR?  I've seen talk about a B4 form for your goods, where do you get one of those?  My husband is planning on coming just with two or three suitcases filled with mostly clothing only, and a few other random things including a computer, ipod, etc, but not much else besides that (he has brought over some clothes and stuff before when visiting and just left them here).   He isn't bringing his car, as he is just going to give it to his sister.  Anything else we should know about the landing process?

All they asked me for in my PPR email was a copy of my birth certificate?? And the passport (or copies) of course! Smiley
