Anik - I know what you mean about checking ECAS. Interestingly enough my husband still shows "in process" even though we have the PPR.

i tried in a way, asked if they needed any more info and saying there was people after us that received their ppr. The answer was simple... each cases are different do not compare yourself to others They frankly care less about helping us even less about the suffering we are going through |

Asking them questions is almost useless, they won't advise about status or give any sort of timeline.
However, I think this is one of the downsides of being on this forum. You see the lucky few who get through quickly and it makes it seem like yours is taking an especially long time. However, please remember that the average processing times fall somewhere between 4-10 months after AOR. *hugs* Hang in there my friends. There are many factors that affect processing times, that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with your application.

oh i know about it it takes time.. the whole frustration comes from we had to wait 2 months and a half for the fbi certificate, 2 months instead of 1 at mississauga, problems with immigration quebec with name and address and now Buffalo takes its time... it's just sometimes a but too much... (plus add the other problems life brings you) i am hanging just being frustrated at times or depressed some days. but true forums are useful but can make you feel bad because of a few lucky ones |

Dralon and Cherlyn, your days will come. I'm starting to feel your pain. I'm a late April, and out of all the people applied in April I'm one of the last couple ones without a PPR or ANY NEWS really since Aug 02. So it must be REALLY hard to not have heard anything even longer than I have. To me it makes me feel like you're very strong and patient. I know it hurts hey? But it is what it is. And when you finally get news you'll be doing backflips! I know I will! LOL.
Cheer up. Us left behinders are still in process. Don't forget that. SOON SOON SOON.
