does anyone know normally how long I will receive the mail? and do i need to order the CIAPS Notes?

They tell me I'm obsessing! I told them I had to do something so that I wouldn't chew my arms off or go crazy! Padded rooms here I come! Kidding. But still, nobody understands, I get all stoked when somebody gets a PPR or AOR, etc. It's exciting. |

It's becoming an issue with my guy too. He thinks I sit around all day posting on the forum and watching Oprah...I think spending 8 days in the last year is not THAT much time (1.92 percent to be exact). I guess I could move on since I'm no longer in process. We're heading to France tomorrow night and will have limited internet time for a while, so I guess I'll have forum stalking withdrawals and see how it goes after that. i was looking at the spreadsheet mostly everyone whos been in process has received some kind of update after a couple weeks. I was in process July 29 and no update... its been 1 month and 10 days. (i know some people have been in process longer, but i got no letter no interview waived no being transferred they dont need this or that hmm)

Saugaboss: I've been in process since Aug 2 and have not heard anything as well. That makes 1 months and a week for me. Nothing as well. Kind of nerve wracking. So I'm assuming no news is good news..? |

I just got off the phone with CIC and how unhelpful. I was asking to see if they received payment for my RPRF. She asked "when did you send it." I said "I sent it August 16, but I sent it overnight mail, so it should have arrived by no later than the 18." In a voice as if she was reading her response right off a peice of paper, she said "We are only processing applications that were sent in July and there for we can give you no information at this time." I said no, no, I think that you miss understood me. I applied in April, this is just for my RPRF. Could you tell me if you received it and how long it takes to process it?" She sighs as if this is the most stupid question that she has ever heard, "is this outland or inland." I say, outland, but I sent the RPRF fee to Miss......" she cuts me off, "we don't have access to that office information, you will have to contact them." I said "I have and they said that mississauga processes this payment." She sighs again, I can almost see her rolling her eyes in her voice, "mississauga take 1-3 months to process." The rest is not worth noting. I can't believe how rude this lady was. I don't think that she understood what I was asking. 1-3 month, really!!!  I already feel like I could pop. Do these people know what we go through? Do they even care. I just started crying after I got off the phone. I'm soooo frustrated. |
