My husband faxed the Ottawa Regional Medical Office and asked them to forward the medical results to Buffalo. They replied within the same day and said that they had already forwarded them to Buffalo.
He faxed two numbers: 613-941-9528 613 954 6211
Also, ECAS didn't say anything about my husband's medical results until after they requested for his passport.
Hey did you have to do this or did you do it to assure evrything was in ordeR? Can we email or call these people

you can fax them if you like. I got a response back within a couple of days that they were looking into it. But SaugaBoss, I think you might just be bothering them right now if you did it. Your timeline is really early...Buffalo just started processing a few days ago for you! You have to give them some time to get started

Hi guys, just wondering. To those who got married in the US, did you guys get a marriage certificate or a marriage abstract? If you got a marriage abstract, did you send that in with your PR application? Was that good enough?
Thank you in advance!

So I broke down yesterday and e-mailed the Buffalo office about our application. All this waiting around is frustrating. They responded this morning with the following: "We are currently creating family class applications received June 4, 2010. A letter of acknowledgement will be sent once the file created." So I'm no further along than I was before. Comforting to know that my message went somewhere at the very least.

They emailed me the same response but this week i received a letter in the mail from Buffalo that they are processing it... So you might hear from them sooner than they tell u

Thank you! We had the applicant's info on there and asked them if they received the medical results from the DMP. They replied and said they have already forwarded the results to Buffalo. I believe we sent the fax 2 weeks after they started processing in Buffalo.

You're welcome! Good luck with your application. I know the waiting is awful. We should've been done a long time ago but the FBI clearance held us up.

You and I both. There are February applicants who have landed, and I should have been one of them.

so no update just june 7 began processing?
When I emailed them through the online form to ask if they required medicals from Ottawa (which was my way of nudging them, as in , what the heck is going on with our application), they emailed a response as follows: "We have received the results of your medical exam. Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete. e-Cas is for applications processing within Canada only. Immigration cases being processed in Visa offices outside Canada use a system different from that used to process similar applications in Canada. As a result, the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) does not reflect the status of cases being processed in Buffalo." I am getting frustrated because we got our AOR in early June, and it seems like people are getting letters about interviews being waived, PPRs, etc., and we have not heard a peep...

beantown, I have not heard anything since my sponsor was approved on June 1, 2010. I am half tempted to email B'lo as well to see if I can get any information out of them. I'm going to wait one more week and then if I still don't receive anything in the mail I'm going to email them.
Good Luck! Hopefully we'll hear something soon and that it won't take much longer!

Not that there's any point in trying to draw comparisons (since the timelines for people seem to be so random!), but I should point out that my sponsorship of my husband was approved in early May, so we are a bit further along the process than you. It was approx one month before we received the AOR from BUffalo, so i wouldn't be too concerned yet. Summer vacations and all, they're maybe a bit behind...
