it is really awful and makes me really a bit worried as my house in UK is now rented out, but hopefully not to someone like that.
Yep am so planning on staying inside. He's gotta work outside, but needs must. I'll stay inside as much as I can until it gets a bit warmer. Its nice that a schnook is coming through soon, so gonna get back up to -10! Never thought I'd say that -10 would be nice!

Here's the latest updates, although it doesn't seem so much has gone on in the last week, wondering if they're all still catching up from holidays. Congrats jma, malaika and Hal on your processing, its great to know that your offices are working on your applications. Hopefully kelKel, they'll get through yours quickly, especially as its been 2 months in processing now. guuuh, good news and bad news for me..
i just received an email requestion payment for the Right of Permanent Residence Fee. I didn't pay it earlier since i was under the impression we could pay it once my boyfriend was approved (so long as he paid before he landed in canada) ... we are applying outside of Canada.
Damnit, now they say it will add at least 2 months to the application processing times. I am assuming he has been approved since they are requesting this fee though. Paid it ASAP and I am hoping for a Christmas miracle:)
has anyone had a similar experience or problem?

Well, looks like you've been approved, but yes, it just adds time to the process, as they won't issue the visa until its paid.
at least its another London October application that's approved.

Well can't decide if it is good news our bad news. We just got an email from London around 3pm uk time for those that want to know. We apparently didn't include the 5406 additional family information form. My husband swears he filled it out and signed it. I don't ever rememeber seeing it. It was off and in the mail in the half hour and will arrive tomorrow morning. Real mixed feelings going on. I am happy they are at least processing. My husband is really fixated on being sent back to the bottom of the never ending pile. Trying to keep spirits up.

how upsetting spacey! Now i thought that missasauga checked all the forms before sending off to london, really! So unfair, at least you managed to send it off today, now you know they are working on your file. Did the email go to the applicant or the sponsor?

I hear you spacey...it's a mixed blessing. To be honest, I'd rather get that than the black hole we're currently in. Really frustrated with London not updating eCas or doing AORs. Our application could be at the bottom of the Atlantic for all I know! At least they're processing and making progress!! Chin up  |

Thanks Guys, I am really happy to have at least heard something. I think more upsetting is the crash when you see that email and are quietly hoping its a PPR  The email went to my husband who was the applicant. I hope that the rest of september and oct people that are waiting get ppr emails in the next few days I am always really excited for other people. |
