what's the questions you have problems with jma, does this help? 1. Once they open it, they will know its spousal, so whether or not you've put anything on the outside I can't see what the problem would be. And CIC are used to getting mail to the courier only address, which is why they provide it. 2. I assume you put your own address on the forms inside the application? Then I wouldn't worry, unless your friend, opened the envelope, deleted your address from the forms and put their address on it instead, your address is still on the forms. I think it would be best if you just wait your month or so until your get your decision before panicing so much. This process takes time, I know it's really hard, but you just need to wait patiently, without everything that comes into your head regarding the application being such a big deal. You have sent the application off, there is now NOTHING you can do unless CIC come back to you with problems. Just smell the roses and try to chill a little or you will just send yourself around the bend going crazy with worry over everything. |

I can now log onto ecas as well, and it shows they sent a letter on 19th Nov, so they're running under a month now, yippeee!!!
Massive congrats MandiF...fantastic news!  Hope they keep up this pace and get to my case in the next couple of days!! M. |

I finaly have a "dm" on ecas!!!!!
It sais they received my app on 16 September (we had to resubmit) and the have made decision on 18 November!

Mine was delivered last week on 17th. Anxiously awaiting any mail from them. |

Congrats for the decisions made, I've added the information below, for kingqatar & jacquevw – I've left yours in as resubmitted date, so it doesn't look really long for the original sponsorship approval. Jeff, I wouldn't worry about not getting through any information yet, mine could just be a big fat NO, or that we've forgotten something or done something wrong with the sponsorship application. Why don't you try giving the call centre a call as CANEnforcer suggested to see if they will give you the information yet? It's worth a try, they can only say no to giving out the info. I'll wait another week first. it's been 30 days, I told myself I'd wait the 38-41 days they are saying things are taking before panicking Easier said that done! Glad to hear we're getting lots of decisions made for the October group now! |

I was the latest one on Friday, did they actually confirm receipt of your application on 22nd October? If not, or even if so, it might not be until today/tomorrow that they get to it if lots of people applied on that day, and then it is always a couple of days later you can log in to see what they said.
You're taking it very well, and I'm sure yours will come out in the next few days.
