So my package just increased by an inch today, printed emails etc. Hope the IO's are not bashful, because there are saucy details in there for sure!! Some EXTREMELY fun stuff too,
With regards to 'prove' that you are in a real relationship, I printed a couple of my bank statements that show both of our names on, and also one that shows our first date!! (crazy cool to find that). Anyways, do I need to print every single bank statement since september 2007 to prove that She and I have a joint account, or is the one where she joined (in 2007) and the last one enough?

I found the receipt from our first date the other day in a pile of old receipts I was going through. Couldn't believe my husband still had that!!!
About the joint account...I just printed the one where we opened the account to show when we opened it. If I were you, I would maybe print the first one (or earliest one you have) and then maybe the current one, to show how long you have had the account and that you still have it. Maybe someone with more experience might be able to give you a better answer though?

Ok sounds like a plan then. I COULD print the entire package, but feel that could be a tad much, but I guess it will be one heavy envelope regardless.
Also booked my Dr. visit for the 12th of Oct. (just after payday...)
so after that I should be good.

Well posted in the other october thread but looks like there is more going on here. Have been waiting a month for my husband's Austrian and UK record checks finally arrived today! Application will be going in tomorrow can't wait to see it in that envelope!

You download all the forms from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp also on this page is an explanation of who needs to fill in which bits. If your wife is Canadian, she will need to fill in the sponsorship application and then you fill in the permanent residence application, but generally most couples do it all together. |
