Hi guys,
I had applied for my wife's PR in March 2010 and the file was sent to New Delhi on May 25 2010, then we received a letter for interview on 27 july, which then got cancelled by CHC, New Delhi. Also it has been more than 2 months since her Passport has been submitted to CHC...
Anyone in similar position? or does anyone know how much more time do they usually take after passport request?

Congrats Saugaboss!!! Unfortunately, my ecas still hasn't changed and I sent mine in on May 3rd :S Now I'm starting to worry again that it was lost. Ugh.

if your file was send on June 8 it should be updating soon. I emailed buffalo they said they are starting applictions sent on June 4... Mine was sent on June 23 to Buffalo. That's why I was so surprised with this update of them starting on it when mine was sent in on June 23. I wouldn't worry though because Buffalo did give notice of June 4th applications are starting to be processed last week Maybe my update doesnt really mean anything then :s im not sure |

I emailed them on this: buffalo-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca This is exactly what it says on E-cas for me: Sponsorship Application Status: Decision Made Permanent Residence Application Status: In Process So the first step was obviously complete which is being eligible to sponsor... Now Buffalo is looking at all my info to make sure im not missing anything and dont need an interview! |

I also was wondering this is it important to contact Buffalo about a pregnancy or do I need to waite until the baby is born (of course I hope this is all over by then 1st week of march is due date). Maybe the fact that you contacted them helped speed yours along! I may try that if I don't hear this week.. my last ecas update was on a Thursday, so we'll see  |

Pregnancy's wont speed up any application..unless its for H&C reasons..But Female Applicants are supposed to inform Immigration of Changes in their relationship..including pregnancy

it would be nice if you could tell which posts you were getting negatives from, instead of it just being a wild guess. oh well, I just try to look at it from being people in bad moods...you certainly can't control that! I completely forgot there is a good and bad karma rating on here lol..mine is +6 and -5...I am guessing some people just dont like me on here!! Oh well..as I told my stepson..you can't like every one and not every one will like you, so dont make too much of an effort to try and please every one..just be yourself and be nice in general... |
