Nothing as such.. as per the cic site, they started processing on 15july.. i m not sure if they will update something if they have send any mail or not.. currently there is only 1 line in my status...  |

I understand my friend! Btw- which part of India ru from??? you know, you would figure its 2010 ppl check their emails more than ordinary mail, and they would send u an email and save 2-4 weeks!!!!!!! No but mine also stated - "Medical Results have been received"
Havn't u both submitted medicals already?
oh really!! I have already submittled medicals and ECAS just shows "we have started processing......" line and no medicals received line....now i am really worried...i think they would send PPR only if they update medicals...i am not sure.... |

I checked it! Its strange! they could not have had a decision made for me already? unless there is something seriously wrong n they have rejected my app.? Cz processing at ND started on 7th July n I saw eCAS update for the very first time on July 13th. It also read - Medical results have been received. n as per the status table for outside Canada Apps. - Medical Results fall under Decision Made? Its making me nervous!! I wonder y only my eCAS update also includes Medical Results n no1 else??? Dont be nervous and i am sure your file is moving closer to getting visa. So decision made is definitely a positive outcome for u. Also since you are applying for second time they would have already had checked all the background stuff in your previous appln. and hence they will process your case quickly since your spouse is in canada now and they wont have any other reason to reject this time....keep us posted...Best wishes.... |

Hey Guys!!!
Got a letter from CHC-ND dated July 22 for PPR today...
Question for people with PPR....is it a standard computer generated letter asking for fee/old passport/police clearance??
now, guys...WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???
They never asked me for additional documents or proof...the IO opens file and surely checks if they need anything else from me...so this is kinda good news??

Hey Rachel - yes, im from ND...just relax, im sure u will get something this week or very shortly....they send letter thru normal mail...as u mentioned, it does take 2-3 to get to south....dont worry something is in the mail for u as well!!!:)

Congrats minku9!!! Another hurdle crossed! Hope u get ur visa stamped soon. I received the same computer generated generic letter asking for passports (current, old), fee payment, if not already paid; police clearances, if not already submitted. N bar coded stickers too. I used Blue Dart Courier and put stickers on the passports. Good Luck. Dont worry Rachel. Im only 15 kms away frm the Visa Office but in a different state (Gurgaon, Haryana) n the letter was delivered after 2 weeks!! It was dated July 8th n was delivered on 21st by regular post! Hang in there!! |

Thanks Xyrus - so we are pretty much in the same timeline for PPR...hope it happens soon buddy!
Now, like i said before...if they wanted more docs, had doubts about relationship or schedule an interview IO would have done so when reviewing it initially...i understand this is not a guarantee for visa....but relationship/more doc and proof hurdles i guess we can not worry for!!
Also, now, they will check medicals, background, security and all that.....what do u think??
