I m from punjab.i m sure ur PPR is on the way xyrus.My letter was sent on 9th itself when CHC started processing.It might be
postal delay.You can ask your area postoffice.It was a regular post.

i was able to see details of delhi processing on 13th of july around 11am.they generally update ecas on tuesdays.

hi everyone hey dilneet me and u have the same timeline my file was in process on 9th july too and i was able to see online status on 13th same time of you
but i didnt get any letter so far did they send you the letter on the same day when file open........

my husband was like the letter is coming today and i was like nooo it will be a long time before it comes..
well today a letter did come --- i almost had a heart attack seeing the brown envelope under the door..
it was just a cheque for $50
but still! wowzas!

Thx for the prompt reply Dilneet! I went up to the Post Office to enquire! Apparently, they do not have anything for me so far! =(
Guess mine is a complicated case since I have re-applied as my earlier app. got rejected in Jan this year. I suppose they are scrutinizing it further! It got rejected cz me and my wife were in delhi during the entire time the file was under process @ CHC, Delhi! We got married in March '09, moved to Delhi in May '09 (from New York). They gave us a reason that they were not convinced my wife, the sponsor would return to Canada after PR was granted to me. The moment we received the refusal letter my wife left for Canada (Jan 2010) and applied from there again (May 13th 2010) and has been there since then! I have shared this info earlier on this forum. My apology for repeating myself......jus' letting out myself... been stressful and frustrating!

jillandmat: LOL..I wouldnt mind a cheque for $50 right now  It depends on which country your visa office is in as to how long it takes..From London it takes about 5-7 days average..can be longer..So if it shows on E-CAS Tuesday I may not get my letter until the following Thursday!  |
