I see you sent your application to a Sydney office?

I'm Australian and putting my application together but didn't know we could send it there... I thought all outbound applications went to Mississauga?

I finally paid my RPRF today, I was unable to pay it with my Applicants fees 2 months ago and so relieved to have finally got it out of the way!  I am hoping there is no hold up with my application now! I have been in process in London for Only 1 month now...My Husband is faxing my receipt to London Monday morning

 i have got my visa approval letter today .they started processing my file on 6 july and date on letter i received is 9 aug .

All outland applications go to Mississauga for sponsorship approval - then yours will be forwarded to Sydney for the rest of the processing. We're lucky, they respond to emails, and it seems they can be very fast!

I got an email from London today, this is what it says,

"In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents stated below. Unless specified to the contrary, send clear, legible photocopies rather that the original documents. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation in addition to a photocopy of the original document.   All of the forms listed below can be found on our website at www.unitedkingdom.gc.ca .

* Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

Please advise your sponsor to pay this fee in Canada ($490 Cdn.)This payment cannot be accepted in the UK. It must be paid in Canada in accordance with the instructions in the sponsorship kit. The receipt should be sent to CPC   - Mississauga. Also please send a copy of the receipt to Canadian High Commission London (PUP Unit ).

Please forward all requested documents together within 60 days from the date of this email. If we do not hear from you within that period, we shall assume that you are no longer interested in immigrating to Canada and your file will be closed. Please allow 3-4 months for us to review incoming correspondence. All documents submitted in support of your application are subject to verification with the issuing authority. If you fail to provide the requested items within the time period specified, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information already before the officer. Failure to provide the additional information could result in the refusal of your application.

Please do not contact us unless there are significant issues which need to be brought to our attention. On all correspondence sent to the High Commission, please quote your file number on the letter and again on the top left hand corner of the envelope.

We look forward to hearing from you within 60 days.

Dose this mean my interview may have been waived and no more documents are needed? I know a visa wont be issued unless the fee is paid!! Coincidentally I paid the RPRF Saturday and have the receipt all ready to go to CPC-Mississauga today!! 

I am so excited right now, this is the first time I have heard from London requesting anything (except for when I emailed them 2 weeks ago)

The way I read it, It could take up to 3-4 months to review my documents...I am now waiting for CPC-M to tell CHC-London that they have my receipt...and my fees should be processed by the end of September..the IO has more than one Application they are processing at the same time so I think it means by the time CPC-M lets London know the IO may be tied up with another application and I will have to wait my turn! I dont think they wait for the fees to clear before proceeding just cant issue my PR Visa!

I know somebody else that was in the same position with London, her husbands fees were requested 10 June she paid right away and his E-cas was updated to show medicals received 2 weeks later...another 2 weeks later Decision made..PPR was requested exactly 1 month after the fees had been requested!! And then another 3 week wait for the Visa to be issued..thats 6 weeks from the request for RPRF...Her husband is Landing on Thursday!! So I think when they say 3-4 months to review the additional documents is a worst case scenario!
