Hi all,

Figured I'd start the March 2011 thread since Mississauga received our package this morning. So here we go!

Definitely, I was still a little stressed yesterday but now that I know they have it, I'm much more relaxed. So hopefully it all goes smoothly!

Congrats on getting your application in!  You should have your news about the sponsorship portion in about a month.  Smiley  And then... settle in for a nice wait.  Get to know your fellow Buffalo applicants.  They're going to be your new best friends.

We finally got our papers in the mail today, after some bad luck and mail delays(due mostly in part to the stupidity of USPS!) that seemed to keep popping up, it was causing a lot of stress. I'm so glad to finally be rid of the damn things and getting our process started! I sent them priority mail to Mississauga and they should receive them on the 4th. I hope our bad luck has ended, and we are lucky enough to get a smooth and quick approval! Good luck to the other March applicants!  Smiley

Thank god someone started the March thread.

I thought we would have had it out sometime in February but we did not get it done in time. It looks like we are mailing it on March 16,17 or 18 and we are applying inland. Good luck to me. The cic website says it is opening packages from May 4,2010 and it just changed today from May 1, 2010. It has only moved 3 days in the past week:(

I will update once we actually send it. Can't wait to be rid of it but then the downside is that the waiting begins!

Good luck to all the legitimate people. For the fakers, GO TO HELL!

Jiyamano, it is true.

If it wasn't for all the fakers then we would not need to do all this stuff.

When my parents came to Canada in the 60's, all you had to do was get married and your spouse would have permanent residency.

How the world has changed!

DHL just picked up our application from Cornwall, England.  Should arrive by Tuesday.
What a strange feeling. I'd got quite attached to that box of paper work!
Fingers crossed and good luck to everyone else.

And a big thank you to everyone for their help.

New to the forum -- huge help in getting our application together! Don't know what I would have done without it.

We sent off our application package from Adelaide Australia on March 4th. So we will patiently wait to hear from Mississauga.

Hello!

My boyfriend sent off the application to Mississauga in the post yesterday...12.02.2011... will update my status once they receive it.

Am nervous we forgot something but it's also a relief to have it gone.. it took us a long time to get everything together... it seemed like such an overwhelming process at times!!

We were going to apply inland and then I read this forum and we decided to go outland through the London, UK office. (So, thank you for the advice, internet forum!! Smiley)

So, I'm back in my hometown in Dublin, Ireland hoping the process won't take too long. Will also need the CSQ so that increases the timeline!

Hope it all goes well for the other March applicants!

LongTimeComing-

Looks like our timeline will be similar, as I'm going through London also! We even did our medical around the same time!

So, Hello Smiley
