thank you for answering my question.
yes thats correct, you can pay rprf in advance if you want.
i just want to clarify that, so as not to confuse others.
because the usual process would be, is to wait for your landing interview(DM), then pay rprf.

Based on PPR letter po.. LC2 class po Note: The RPRF is normally paid for all family members overseas by the primary applicant/family member in Canada at the time he/she becomes Permanent Resident..

you cant pay the rprf anytime you want..LC1 needs to wait for the immigration letter indicating yo finish all the processing thing, then in the letter includes the receipt that needs to pay rprf, and submit pictures for the pr card, send it and will have to wait for 2-3 weeks for the landing interview schedule.. myself,a cousin and a friend just finished landing interview last month..so maybe here in montreal, this is the process procedure..

Actually, we can pay it ahead of time or wait for the letter.

i have been a forum lurker for quite sometime, and i can really say that the forum has become less informative as it was before.
it is ok to do your chat in the forum(OT posts) but it is common forum etiquette to keep it to a minimum.
let me just correct what DM means, i really would like to tackle this so as not to propagate misinformation.
DECISION MADE (A decision has been made at this point.)
An Interview May be Required We will review the application and decide if an interview is necessary. If so, we will inform you in writing of the date, time and location of the interview.
Sponsorship / In-Canada Application for Permanent Resident Status Determined The sponsorship applications and In-Canada Application for Permanent Resident Status will be either approved or rejected. We will inform you in writing in either case.
Permanent Residence Status Determined If your application is approved, we will send you your permanent resident documentation and a letter saying what we need to finalize your permanent residence
the two quoted posts are only applicable if your still in the process of applying for OWP.
since angellois has way passed that, it is not applicable to her.
re: OWP you will also get a DM once its approved, but your ecas will still show as "in process".
what im trying to clear is:
if your lc2 has already finished their medicals, submitted additional docs.
if your lc1 has OWP already.
once your ecas show a DM message its a positive sign.
so to those who have owp already, and have already submitted everything that cic had required, and suddenly your ecas shows DM, all i can say is pray harder.
@ inspector Hi sir, I just want to clarify some things.. From what I understood is that in a LC2 Application, if your LC1 had already been issued a Working Permit and the LC2 submitted additional docs and medical then LC2's ecas suddenly changes from Application Received to a Decision Made (Never going into IN PROCESS) then most probably the LC2 has been denied? Is that correct? Thank you in advance!

Yes, LC1 or principal applicant talaga ang nagbabayad..normally..

That's good news...congratulations. Just wondering bakit wala pang PPR ang LC2.
