hi! good afternoon po sa inyong lahat dito sa forum. actually lumang bago po ako dito. i'm old timer in the sense na matagal ko na po itong nababasa since kuya Edwin, GEWO, mayag's time pa and i'm new here in the sense na ngayon lang po ako nagpost.

anyway, just to share my DETAILED TIMELINE, kaya ko po sinabing DETAILED is LAHAT po ng ginawa naming mga steps, follow ups ay nilagay ko.

February 5, 2009              =received application for permanent residence at CIC Vegreville
February 23, 2009        =application started processing
May 2009 (first week)        =family received application forms (kit)
May 20, 2009                =family submitted application forms together with necessary requirements
June 2009 (last week)        =received confirmation letter and started processing on June 18, 2009
August 2009 (first week)    =principal sponsor received approval of open work permit
August 2009 (second week)=principal sponsor received medical forms
September 8, 2009        =principal sponsor undergo medical
October 2009                =principal sponsor applied for the priority processing in connection with ONDOY Victims
October 2009 (last week)   =received a call but can't answered it because I was driving that time
November 19, 2009        =received letter requesting for new NBI clearance and with "travel to Canada" stamped
January 2010 (last week)   =my wife e-cas status "DECISION MADE" (we sent you a letter.... And mdical result has been received)
February 22, 2010        =sent follow-up letter thru e-mail regarding the issuance of medical forms but embassy did not reply
March 1, 2010                =went to Canadian embassy to personally follow-up but unfortunately there is no somebody I couldn't talked but instead "dropped box"
March 4, 2010                =my wife went to MP to ask some help if they can
March 8, 2010                =embassy replied and the MP told to my wife that "medical forms will be arriving shortly" and security check is "almost done"
March 17, 2010                =Medical forms received together with letter dated March 11, 2010
March 18, 2010                =went to embassy to replace the medical form issued to my daughter due to wrong spelling and the same day they also replaced it
March 23, 2010                =undergo medical
April 8, 2010                =medical of my daughter forwarded to embassy
April 12, 2010                =my medical forwarded to embassy
July 7, 2010                =went to MP to ask again for the help why PPR are not yet forwarded to us
July 9, 2010                =according to the reply of embassy my papers is "under process" and PPR will be released after
                                       security check is done and according to the embassy it is in the "final stage"
July 16, 2010                =received passport request dated July 12, 2010
July 19, 2010                =forwarded passport thru LBC
July 20, 2010                =PPR received by the embassy
July 22, 2010                =e-cas of my wife again "decision has been made and you will be contacted"
July 26, 2010                =received letter from CIC Vegreville stating how much the RPRF and CIC Vancouver will contact my wife regarding the interview date
August 7, 2010                =received interview letter from CIC Vancouver (interview date Aug. 23, 2010)
August 23, 2010                =LANDED
August 26, 2010                =application COMPLETED according to e-cas
September (2nd week) 2010   =my wife went to MP again and made a follow up why our VISAs are not yet issued to us
September (3rd week) 2010   =canadian embassy emailed back to MP and said that the QUOTA for the year 2010 are already full
                                          and our VISAs will be release on January 2011
October 15, 2010                =PR card receieved
Januaury 17, 2011        =received call from embassy that our VISA ARE READY FOR PICK UP ON JANUARY 20, 2011

thanks po ulit and sana makatulong ako sa mga naghihintay po ng visa.

hindi ko po sure kung si BALANTANCAN ang nagsabi sa magbigay or magpadulas sa mga postman ninyo.... well ang masasabi ko lang po is TAMA po si BALANTACAN.. I ALSO DID THAT and makikita po ninyo sa timeline ko mabilis po dumarating yung mga mails sakin.

napaka-detailed nga ng timeline na 2...sobrang helpful ni2 para sa mga and2 sa forum and makikita mo na halos ung detailed steps on how the processing goes. I noticed also na napakahelpful lumapit sa MP kasi mabilis ang reply at hindi vague (just wondering pano lumapit sa MP?). Another thing, I'm curious dun sa quota na sinabi mo? Does it mean ang quota nila is specific for certain year, months, or evry quarter? Just wondering lang kc at ibig sabihin ba ni2 eh there's a big chance for us who sent our passports for VISA issueance on the last quarter of 2010 na mareceive ang VISA early this year? thanks at nakatulong sayo ng malaki yung detailed timeline ko. actually base on wife's information, MP (member or parliament) is an office that you can count on if you want to know the real status of your application. lahat ata ng place/city is may MP office kang mapupuntahan. kami kasi kapag nakikita namin ng wife ko na parang sobrang tagal na ng waiting time... for example waiting time FROM MEDICAL TO PPR ay napakatagal dun pumupunta yung wife ko kung anu na ang status ng application namin because you also notice that the canadian embassy processing time gave is 15months.. so kung nakikita mo ng hindi nasusunod yung time frame na binigay ng embassy dun kami nagkakasundo ng wife na puntahan na nya yung MP sa place nya. ako nag-try din ako pumunta ng canadian embassy and wala talaga ako nakausap na representative nila kundi dropbox ang sinasabi sakin sa information counter.

when it comes to quota naman, QUATA for the YEAR (2010) not monthly, not quarterly basis becuase when you read their website nandun yung mga pinapalabas nilang total number of people they processed or nabigyan ng visa YEARLY. then if you worried na baka hindi ma-release yung visa mo this year... then ang masasabi ko lang sayo is MAS MABILIS NA YUNG PROCESSING NILA NGAYON and definitely makukuha mo yung visa mo this 2011 and of course FATHER GOD IS ALWAYS THERE and keep PRAYING, PRAYING AND PRAYING and don't lose hope.

Thanks yetbo! you're response gave me such relief...and yes I agree sayo na PRAYING is the best thing to do while waiting. I know that God will provide! Given also the idea of a quota...I believe na uunahin nila yung mga backlogs nila fro 2010 so tama ka na we'll definitely be included for the quota this 2011. I'm hoping and I'll keep on praying na sana time will alaso come for us na VISA nalang ang hinahantay! Congrats again...you're game is over!

 @ at yetbo.....thank GOD AT umusad uli ang mga papers natin so we are hoping na marami na ang kasunod niyan kasi marami kaming mga maeexpire ng medical this march and hopefully si rcresencio sana lumabas na rin visa niya kasi among our members siya ang medyo  malapit na maexpire which is this february.......... @ jureymon pare sana tayo na ang kasunod kasi i noticed yung mga na ppr ng july ay naglalabasan na ang mga visa and tayo naman eh august sana tuloy tuloy na pero one thing unsual eh bakit  si yetbo yata ay tinawagan for pickup  kasi  usually deliver nila personally.........MAY GOD BLESS US ALL LC2 GROUPS........TO ALL THOSE NA MALAPIT NA MAEXPIRE ANG MEDICAL AND WALA PA MGA VISA NATIN....LET US KEEP IN TOUCH  MGA KATRIBU........... oo malapit na yan, nung tumawaga kasi ang embassy sakin malapit na kasi mag-expire yung medical/visa namin at marami daw ang mag-i-expire kay hindi na courrier ang ginamit nila kundi pick-up na lang..although may mga nabasa na rin ako sa ibang forum na yung iba is for pick up din. basta ang mahalaga is huwag mawalan ng pag-asa and Prayer ang need natin at magtiwala tayo sa Kanya. salamat po.

bigla ako nabuhayan d2...it made me realize lng na hindi hahayaan ng embassy na mag expire ang medicals natin, which I think na tama naman tlaga because of the ffg reasons:

1. Hindi natin fault na mabagal ang processing
2. Our respective principals are already permanent residence; and this only means na considered approve na ang applications natin
3. Nabayaran na rin ng mga principals natin ang RPRF natin (Come to think of it, we're already considered PRs..it's just that we don't have the necessary docs yet and we're not landed yet)

Having this said, it's not right nmn cguro na tayo ang mag suffer sa bagal ng processing nila (which I really don't know if may cases talaga na nagexpire ang meds given na VISA issuance na) Ang mga cases lng kc na naririnig ko na nagremedical eh ung mga nag expire na pero nasa background and security check stages pa.

Given this, it made me feel a lot of ease. This is a very positive sign...hopefully tayo na yung current batch na pinaprocess; and hopefully this is a good start for this new year! But one thing is for sure..."GOD WILL PROVIDE" have faith and keep on praying! Good luck!

Yes! you're definitely correct, it is not our fault and the most important thing is they will release it before the visa expired especially if our principal sponsor are already PRs.

 thanks for your very informative timeline, ask ko lng din nagpunta ba si misis sa office ng MP or tinawagan nya lng? kung ngpunta ba sya nakausap ba nya mismo yung MP or secretary lng ay pwede na. Im starting to feel na lumapit sa MP since more than 4 months na  nagmedical ang mag-ama ko at wla prin ang PPR.  I know normal p nmn ang processing, kaunting antay pa at tyaga, pero just incase lang.

prepare mo yung passports nyo at mga anak nyo, birthcert at marriage cert, proof of relationships nyo ni misis like photos, letters, etc.

FYI mga kaforum at pampagana na rin! I just want to share yung timeline ng dependents ng kachurch ng wife ko sa Toronto. Nainterview yung kachurch ng wife ko at naging PR last Nov 17, 2010 which 1 wek earlier sa wife ko. My wife then got informed na dumating na ang VISA ng dependents ng kachurchmate nya last Saturday (Jan 15). This is a very positive sign at sana tuloy tuloy na! Goodluck sa ating lahat at hopefully may makareceive na bg VISA bago matapos ang january. Let's pray harder!

actually personal nagpunta si misis sa MP and secretary lang yung nakakausap, mag-i-email ngayon yung secretary kung anu na ang status ng application ng mga dependents dito sa pinas, then sasabihin naman ng secretary kung kailan ka pababalikin, usually mga 3 working days ang ginagawang palugit ng secretary. i hope you enlighten and konting tiis talaga ang need natin habang naghihintay and syempre huwag makakalimot sa taas na palaging nandyan sa atin. huwag kang mag-alala nakikita ko sa timeline mo na malapit na yung visa ng mag-ama mo.
