Thread for LC2 PR Applicants - CIC manila

Hello po mga kababayan. Ask ko lang sana kung gaano katagal maprocess ang application ko and some other questions in this situation:

My mom has been working in canada for two years (mag almost 3 years na) na under the live-in caregiver program and applied her permanent residence last year (forgot what month). prinocess nya rin yung papers ko (i'm 18 yrs old) so he can get me there last year and got my application papers last october. I filed my papers and sent it sa canadian embasy sa makati last november naman and now, I'm waiting for the next requirements to be given. My mom is also waiting for her pr permit sa canada and told me na baka lumabas yon this month since uuwi sya dito sa pinas this coming february.

1. question ko lang po is ano kayang next requirements na ang ibibigay ng canadian embassy for me? will it be medical na?
2. after medical, what's next? sabi kasi nila sunod na daw yung visa pero I just want to make sure.
3. how long po naproprocess yung mga ganitong situation?

Medical na and susunod kung wla ka ng kulang sa mga requirements na hiningi ng embassy and after that PPR (passport request) then dyan na susunod visa. Depende kc sa VO may hawak ng papel mo pero usual timeframe after ng medical is 6 months then after PPR is 4 months....

Medical na and susunod kung wla ka ng kulang sa mga requirements na hiningi ng embassy and after that PPR (passport request) then dyan na susunod visa. Depende kc sa VO may hawak ng papel mo pero usual timeframe after ng medical is 6 months then after PPR is 4 months....

Salamat po sir! nagbasa2x po ako dito and marami2x narin pala ang nagsuccess at nakapunta na sa canada. about po dun sa ecas sir, yung info po ng mother ko yung kailangan para makalogin po ako tama po ba? para makita namin yung timeframe ng aming application. actually d2 ko lang nalaman yung ecas na yan and yung mother ko d rin nya alam. helpful tong forum na to hehe.

welcome sa forum. Regarding sa ECAS, separate yung login nyo ng mother mo...usually pag principal like your mother eh client number yung gamit. yung mga dependents naman eh Immigration File Number ang gamit pang login. ung immigration file number mo eh matatanggap mo pag send nila sayo ng AOR "Acknowledgement of Receipt" ng application mo d2. hope this helps...Good Luck!

tama AOR ang next. 1 - 2 months time frame...expect it this january kcmarami rin tayong holidays last december.

jopok, mayag - I know what you mean as I experience it too. For 5 yrs (until now) been like that to me (and my wife). This is the part that we need to overcome and hopefully survive it and achieve the goal of moving to Canada intact .

Aside from waiting for VISA there are other things we can do to "minimize" the burden of waiting. Like enjoying our time here in PH because sooner or later the things we do here will be different when we are in Canada already. somehow you need to focus your mind to more productive stuff like thinking of saving so that when the time comes it easier to adopt there.

Iniisip namin mag-asawa na habang sya andun eh mag-save sya at mag-aral ksi oppurtunity nya yun habang wala pa kami - she got more time for her work, study.

Calling again some BC people here (yung mga andun na at papunta pa lng)- lets group ourselves so that we can meet someday.

it appears marami pala kaming malapit na maexpire na ang mga medical..........kyda, mayag, rcresencio,daidaijv including me......hoping bago tayo maabutan ng expiration ng medical natin ay dumating na ang mga visa.........MAY GOD BLESS US PATI NA LAHAT NG LC2 APPLICANTS

 @ rcresencio....bro hindi ka pa ba nagfollow up sa embassy regarding your visa kasi almost  one month na lang at maabutan na medical mo? kasi may ka timeline din ako na nagbabalak na pumunta na sa embassy this february if ngayong january eh wala pang  nangyari.........kami naman march 15 maexpire medical namin......keep in touch bro....GOD BLESS US

 @ balantacan. Balak ko na rin nga eh. kaso ala pa rin kasing interview si misis, inaayos na nga nya run eh. sana nga maayos na nya run at ng makapunta na ng embassy para maayos na rin.

 @ rcresencio......alam mo pare si misis tumawag doon pero ang sagot sa kanya ay nasa canadian embassy na daw sa manila ang tungkol sa mga bagay na iyan......hopefully may positibong mangayari sa pagfollow up ng wife mo.....
