jopok, mayag - I know what you mean as I experience it too. For 5 yrs (until now) been like that to me (and my wife). This is the part that we need to overcome and hopefully survive it and achieve the goal of moving to Canada intact  . Aside from waiting for VISA there are other things we can do to "minimize" the burden of waiting. Like enjoying our time here in PH because sooner or later the things we do here will be different when we are in Canada already. somehow you need to focus your mind to more productive stuff like thinking of saving so that when the time comes it easier to adopt there. Iniisip namin mag-asawa na habang sya andun eh mag-save sya at mag-aral ksi oppurtunity nya yun habang wala pa kami - she got more time for her work, study. Calling again some BC people here (yung mga andun na at papunta pa lng)- lets group ourselves so that we can meet someday. Hello everyone! Happy New Year  I am new in this Forum. Just like you LC2 applicant din ako. I appreciate the initiative of Edwin1266 in opening this site, it helps us share our timelines and experiences such that we can prepare and our waiting not so tensed. Here's our timeline with my son Jan 12, 2009 rcvd lc2 kit Feb 04, 2009 accomplished kit sent to cic manila Apr 16, 2009 ecas in process mar 13, 2010 medical exam Aug 17, 2010 ppr Sept 16, 2010 my wife granted permanent residence no visa rcvd as of this moment Tama ka milky way, let's keep our waiting profitable in preparation to the next stage of our life in a new setting. Naintrview na din siya doon...
Still waiting for our VISA.. Medyo nakakainip pala magantay pag visa na lang aantayin..matagal ba talaga?

@ Summerscream We're on the same boat kc waiting for VISA na rin kami. Close yung timelines natin kasi Nov 24, 2010 nainterview at nag PR wife ko. Pero one thing is for sure darating din ang VISA natin in God's time. Based d2 sa forum the average tlaga na dumarating VISA is 1 - 2 months after mag PR ang principal (LC1) at may cases din na 3 months but 1 thing that's sure is irerelease nila ito before your medical expires...Just keep on praying! Nga pala keep me posted kasi halos pareho tayo ng timeline. Good luck sayo at sa lahat ng and2 sa forum! |

as far as I know hindi na...kung may mga naiinterview man na dependents eh cguro rare case. Based din sa nabasa ko na concurrent application process ng LC1 and LC2 eh once na mag PR na ang principal (LC1)....manonotify ang local CIC kung saan man ang dependents (LC2) and that specific CIC should release the VISA of the dependents. "9.7. Finalizing the case and issuing a visa When the application of the principal applicant in Canada is ready to be finalized and the applicant can become a permanent resident, the CPC-V will inform the CIC responsible for the applicant's place of residence that permanent residence may be granted. Once the CIC has granted permanent residence to the principal applicant, the visa office will be notified.
