i think sa amin (CIC-manila)...sana di tayo aabutin ng 22mos.

Thanks for the info, Edwin. You and your wife must really be proud of their accomplishments. My son plays lead guitar. He is now 19. He plays on and off with a band (he does not tell me the name of his band because sometimes I would be disapproving of the type of noise (not music hehehe) they make.

Thanks for the info, Edwin. You and your wife must really be proud of their accomplishments. My son plays lead guitar. He is now 19. He plays on and off with a band (he does not tell me the name of his band because sometimes I would be disapproving of the type of noise (not music hehehe) they make.

how did u got the Notice?
was it from our local post office? alam ko di sosi ung CIC na ipa LBC pa nila yan. Lol!
or thru  e mails?

yoooooh!  I think my timeline is the longest comparing to everyone else, but yes God is good, and everything is under His perfect timing!  Share ko sa inyo ang timeline ko....i just received passport request from the embassy and it goes like this..."We are pleased to inform you that your visa(s) is/are ready to be issued"

probably the longest:
April 23, 2008 - We started processing your application (Ecas-In Process)
August 2008 -  Medical request/instructions
October 2008- Medical done
October 15, 2008- Medical sent by Saint Lukes
February 2009 - Police Certificates requested from three different countries
June 2009 -  Police certificates sent thru FedEx
September 2009 -  Request to re-do Medical
October 15, 2009 - 1st Medical Expired
October 29, 2009 - again, for the 2nd time, Medical done
January 14, 2010 - Wife/sponsor received her Permanent residence and paid RPRF ( Right of Permanent Residence Fee )
Feb 9, 2010 -  Letter dated Jan 20 received, requesting Passports for Visa issuance
Feb 10, 2010- Passport sent thru Air 21 (FedEx)
Waiting for visa

Note: Passport request, highlighted inside a box, " We strongly recommend that you submit the new red-colored passports currently being issued by the Philippines authorities as they are in compliance with the machine-readable passport requirement of the International Civil Aviation Organization."

It was the longest timeline I think since I intentionally withheld my Police Certificates for previous overseas work contract and every 6 months kailangan ko magrenew ng Police Certificates, kaya it affected our timeline.  But patience is rewarding and sacrifices are being paid of, God is really so good that all our 4 tickets direct flight to Canada will be shouldered by my wife's employer, a young lady attorney who really cares for my family and wanted us to be reunited.  We are very thankful and really, this is all God's perfect timing,  God bless us all!
