Thread for LC2 PR Applicants - CIC manila

Hi to everyone in this forum. I'm new in this forum and I always read your posts here. I'm getting a lot of helpful information here and I feel relieved everytime I read positive progress on your applications.

I'm also an LC2 applicant together with my 3 yrs old daughter. I just want to get some info from you guys regarding the current progress of our application. My wife (LC1 applicant) applied last Sept 2009 for permanent residence. As for me and my daughter (LC2 applicants), we started our application last March 2010. We also had (LC2) our medicals last May 15, 2010 and the results were forwarded to embassy on that same month. Our eCAS status is "In Process" since then; up until my wife's (LC1) eCAS changed to Decision Made status recently. It says there that they already sent her letter. Having this said, should we expect to have our passport requests (LC2) on the coming days? Does it mean that when a decision has been made on the principal applicant, it follows that the application of his/her dependents is already done as well? What's next on this?

Kailan naging DM ECAS ng misis mo? bka kasi ganyan din ung sa akin, DM Ecas ng wife ko pero pra un sa 1st stage approval.

actually for the longest time "In Process" yung eCAS nya tpos last week may nadagdag na "Medical results have been received and a decision has been made" based sa mga nababasa ko tapos na ang background at security check pag ganito. Then this week nag change na naman yung "In Process" to "Decision Made" tpos pag clinick mo nakalagay sa loob na "We have sent you a letter on <date> on this <address>".

 @  jureymon                                                                                                                                                             katulad mo LC2 category din ako pero base on my experience also with the others na nababasa natin.......usually it will take 5 to 6 months then dadating na passport request mo.......

yes ganun nga usually yung timelines 5-6 months from "In Process" category. Pero yung sa wife ko last week "In Process" tpos sa loob may nakalagay na "medical results have been received and a decision has been made". Pero this week nag change ulit yung status from "In Process" to "Decison Made" tpos sa loob sinabi na may ipinadala na nasulat sa kanya. What do you think? I hope malapit na ibig sabihin nito.

ang alam ko eh magiging dalawa ung nakasulat na "A decision has been made and you will be contacted" pra dun sa 2nd stage of approval. Un ang pagkakaalam ko....pero syempre sna eh DM na tlga misis mo pra makasunod na kyo dun. Gudluck.

ska schedule pa muna ksi mga misis ntin dun for interview for the final approval. Sya ang una makakaalam pag approved application nya for PR and kung pasa na sya sa interview, bbgyan na din kyo visa dto.

ah ganun ba? naku mejo matagal pa pala kung sakali. kala ko concurrently magpapadala na rin sila ng PPR sa dependents. So ibig sabihin yung letter na nereceive ng misis mo after magkaroon ng "medical results have been received" eh hindi pa sya yung letter na ipapatawag sya for interview? May mga nababasa kasi ako na case na after magkaroon ng "medical results have been received" sa eCAS ng principal e dumarating na rin yung PPR ng dependent. Case to case basis siguro. Well anyway, konting tiis lang darating din siguro yun. Good luck nalang sa atin!

malapit na rin pala yung sa inyo dahil naghahantay ka nalang pala ng pasport nyo. tama ka pre konting tiis lang at makaksama na rin natin mga family natin.

chineck ko ulit eCAS ni misis...dalawa ung nakalagay na "A decision has been made and you will be contacted sa loob" and dalawa rin ung nakalagay na we sent you a letter...pangalawa yung nag change ung status nya from "In Process" to "Decision Made". By the way, ano curren status ng eCAS ng misis mo? "In Process" or "Decision Made"?

hopefully nga e2 na yun kasi tapos na kami lahat magpamedical. namedical na wife ko last march 2010 tpos kami ng daughter ko last may 2010 and may OWP na rin wife ko. e2 yung nakalagay sa eCAS nya:
