Hi, good day po!

Tanong ko lang po, kasi po yung kakakuha ko lang ng LC2 (yung mom ko po nasa Canada, which is dependent children po ako) tapos isusubmit ko na po. Sa mga nabasa ko po, +15 months po ba after submission ng LC2 sa CIC Manila bago mabibigyan ng visa?  tska kasama na po ba yung medical dun?

 @ migmigmigs, welcome d2 sa forum... iba-iba kc ang timeline, kung walang naging problema sa mga papers more or less 15 mos including med. un case ko mag 16 mos na ako sa 14 medyo patapos na ako kc nag hihintay nalang ako ng VISA, apparently. dagdagan mo lang ng maraming prayers im sure everything will b ok.

Wow ambilis naman po ng reply! Salamat po! Akala ko after ng submission medyo mabilis na, matagal pa pala Pero hindi po ba mas mabilis pag dependent children kesa sa mga spouse or spouse with dependent children?

(last weekly update: November 3, 2010)
   There are two steps in processing the following applications. In order to know the total approximate time it may take for your application to be processed, ADD the time for step 1 to the time for step 2 (the 2 steps are consecutive).


Step 1
Initial Assessment

Live-in Caregiver
10-11 months
(working on applications received up to December 13, 2009)   

Step 2
15 months

 
on board tayo sa di natin tiyak kung saan at kailan tayo mkarating sa ating destinasyon. only God knows when, and it depends to the VO's(visa officers) who handled ur application.
as of now  U need to have a PPR first. (not a pass port request)
P- prayerful, more prayers
P- patient, more, more patients
R- relax, and have a good time.

Malapit na pasko, homesick nanamn tayo, hay sana magksama sama na tayo sa mga pamilya natin. Nakkadepressed yung step 1 step 2 na yan. Ibig sabhin nun magbbilang pa kmi ng additional 15 months from the time na nakuha namin yung 1st stage approval. ( tama ba?)

   @    my desire.... hindi nman cguro abutin ng ganun unless extend nila validity ng med exam which is valid for one year and that equals your expiration date of ur visa as well

 @  airman sana nga d abutin, alam mo b yung mga nag-apply ng year 2008 halos lhat ata eh ngremedcal sa tgal ng processing kc naexpired ang medcal nila, ganun ngyari sa tita ko eh. Buti kpa passport request na. hay sana kmi din.

Hi! just new to this thread.. nag aantay rin ako ng open work permit ko...

application received LC1 - March 31, 2010
June 15 - In process
LC2 received application form - dated October 10 (I am just sponsoring my 12 year old son)

My question is wala pa ang open permit ko until now... Nung first time ako tumawag sa Immigration Call center, sabi nila 6-7 months until recently it takes longer pa to 10-11 months.. My problem is mag eexpire na ang work permit ko ng Feb 15, 2011. I booked a ticket last September anticipating na marereceive ko ang open permit ko ng Sept or October but it didn't come.. December 6 ang alis ko for a a 6 weeks vacation (until January 18).. I already got a reentry visa sa Buffalo and it will expire sa Jan 30, 2011.. I am just worried dahil ang balik ko pa dito is January 18, 2011, very close sa expiration ng work permit ko (Feb 15, 2011).. Wala kayang magiging problema sa pagbalik ko dito if I still haven't received my open permit by the time na makabalik ako dito... I am just worried.. parang ayaw ko na tuloy ituloy.. I am also thinking na ipa rebook ko na lang ng mas maaga.. (Nov 21-dec 31).  At least 1 1/2 pa bago mag expire ang WP ko sa pagbalik ko dito..

Hope someone could help me decide on this matter. thanks.

Medyo pareho po tayo ng case. Ang pagkakaiba lang po, ako po yung dependent child na issponsor, ang sabi po ng mom ko, hindi daw po maproprocess ang papers nya not until I've submitted mine here sa CIC Manila po.

Hindi ko po naintindihan, Anu po yung ginagawa sa Initial Assessment? Tska po yung sa Final Decision?

Kakakuha ko lang po kasi ng LC2 (for dependent child) last October 2010.

   hello san ka d2 sa Canada? the best thing u should do right now is to call CIC kasi minsan iba2 ang sinasabi ng napapagtanungan mo mas maguguluhan ka lng.

hi, d2 ako sa quebec... ilang beses na rin ako tumawag sa CIC... me nagsabi na hindi ako pwedeng umuwi dahil daw "while your application is in process you must not leave Canada".... It's up to me daw kung if I want to take the risk... Me nakausap din ako na okay naman daw dahil hindi pa expired ang WP ko pag balik ko dito.. I just have to complete the requirements which are reentry visa, letters from my employer and among other things.... but still I need to satisfy the Immigration officer sa port of entry ko pagbalik dito.. depende daw yun sa IO...

hello bayle! ako uuwi ng january kya lang nagrenew ako ng work permit good for jan 2012, yung lc1 ko napass ko lang nung august lang so wala pa ako open permit talaga, ans basahin m yung sa kit natin sabi if you leave canada durng the processing, it does not mean you are deemed ineligible to the processing sabi , kya i hope we can go hope di naman expiored work permit natin as a caregiver di b and we have our re-enrrty permit, i hope this helps
