me too, i think u shuld call them I did today and they couldnt find me on the system yet, they are nice to speak to just explain how long its been and they will say that it does say they are working on july 15th, but just tell them that you know some applications from 19-21st have had approvals and can they just check their system to see if they are at least looking at you application.  Did that, got the same answer as you, so it's pointless to insist. Well, I called them today. The person I spoke on the phone was very nice  (I know  ). He basically told me that it's normal some time an application to be delayed few days. An officer usually picks the applications in baches and they may start working on an application submited on a later date rather than in order and if some of the previous applications require additional checking or some kind of delay, it may in turn delay the rest of the applications in the pile. I concur with mercur's "theory": they probably don't look at applications in any specific order, which adds to the frustration. So waiting it is. |
