How did you guys check the exact date the CIC got your application? The only way I was able to check was on the Canada Post site, but how would I make sure??

I assumed it would be the same date as tracking number from canada post says, but on my ECAS it says it was received on 8th while tracking number said it was delivered on 6th. So, I guess you cannot be sure  |

Guys, I'm worried, I have not received a letter, nor email. I checked all my folders spam included. My Application was was received the 15th July..... just to note, I'm applying from Quebec for my spouse, she's in Pakistan. Any idea?

me too, i think u shuld call them I did today and they couldnt find me on the system yet, they are nice to speak to just explain how long its been and they will say that it does say they are working on july 15th, but just tell them that you know some applications from 19-21st have had approvals and can they just check their system to see if they are at least looking at you application. |

Well, I called them today. The person I spoke on the phone was very nice  (I know  ). He basically told me that it's normal some time an application to be delayed few days. An officer usually picks the applications in baches and they may start working on an application submited on a later date rather than in order and if some of the previous applications require additional checking or some kind of delay, it may in turn delay the rest of the applications in the pile. |
