Just a question to the people that got email. How do you sign up to receive emails from immigration. I asked 2 call center 1 told me that they couldnt add my email onto my file and the other one said Immigration Canada doesnt send out emails just letters so I'm confused  Please let me know how you can get email confirmation Thanks |

Fax them a note with the instructions. No guarantee as you are most probably completed or near completed. But you can try.

If you entered your email on the application, you might (or might not) get approval emails from CIC.
Based on hundreds of posts here.... ecas is useless, all it does is gets people upset and worried, and then falsely happy, when updates happen/don't happen. Not being able to sign in doesn't mean anything, and having it show approved shouldn't be relied on either, because they might have updated the wrong account! They should just do away with it if they don't have the IT people to fix it.

guys who called cic, i have a question.. how do u get connected to agents?? i mean, i tried calling 1888-242-2100 but i can't get through the options without Client ID #. But i don't have that yet.

i have applied for spouse immigration in july 2011 but still i haven't got the AOR.
can anyone tell me when will i get my file number?
will it be issued by from canada or from islamabad?
we had an arranged marriage and only nikah case.
we are both first cousins and he is 10 years older than me.
will this age difference be an issue for them or not?
any one can help
