Its just a decision that he is approved to sponsor.They now send it to your visa office to get th PR approved.In the letter there is a client number go to the cic website check the application progress using that number.

Looks like everyones getting some news now lol
I got a my photos/cards etc returned (to the wrong address) today with a letter saying 'with compliments' is that a good thing do you think? I sent them a letter stating my change of address to canada a few weeks ago - are they ignoring this or is it likely it has just not been opened yet? Luckily i still have someone i know at my old uk address...

Dralon, Arcuva or anyone who has already sent their payment to Quebec: Here's a dumb question. I'm getting ready to send out my forms to Quebec. On the payment form, under "Reason for Applying" I checked the box for "Undertaking - Family Class". I am the sponsor and I paid with my credit card. At the bottom it refers to "information about the principal applicant". Is that me the sponsor? Or is that my husband (person I am sponsoring)? I'm confused because with the federal forms, the "sponsor" was never referred to as the "applicant" but I have a feeling that here they mean "the sponsor"...  |

just send the paperwork.. Quebec is just a plain and simple formality... it is Quebec we had to have our parallel system just because we are french speaking but my opinion we should never have had such a thing.
So yes just send the papers they need, 2x the form for the sponsor, 1x the sponsored form, 1 proof of address (utility bill photocopy), the copy of the letter CIC-M sent you and the fees

tell me about it.I sent in an email to Sao Paulo a couple weeks ago asking if they recieved the medicals from the doctor and they sent one back saying no and asked for info to trck it.I sent out new ones today to them that the doctor gave us.You just cant trust anyoneto do anything they are paid to do.
Anyway they should recieve them thursday.
Comp i think im going to go crazy,as im leaving Brazil tomorrow morning back to Toronto and have to leave my wife here again incase they request an interview which i doubt but who knows.
I think its just as hard to leave her behind as it is the waiting.Its been a month now since it has been in Sao Paulo and they must be reviewing it now cause they sent that email about medicals,god if i only knew he was not going to send them i would have included them ,i included the recipt but i guess that was no good.So now i wait till thursday when they recieve medicals and they review them.
ah so they emailed you asking about medicals? I did mine prior to sending the application to CIC Mississauga, and the DMP said they send the medicals to Trinidad Tobago.... I was confused as to why Trinidad Tobago but thats what they said.... so far no emails, and the application has been in progress since April 1st. MICC Approved the application today  I called them .. took 10 days for them to approve it. Not too shabby. Now its waiting to receive the CSQ here in Sao Paulo.....unlike you I have decided to say here until the very end of the process and leave together back to Canada. Cheers! PS check your inbox.. |

I put myself as the applicant since i am the one applying to sponsor my wife
I am the sponsor, and I put my wife as the applicant, because the CSQ will be made out to her.... so really the person you are sponsoring is the applicant for the CSQ.... well thats the way I looked at it  |

I wish i could have but i have children from a previous marriage,divorced 4 years and i needed to get home to see them,and to my job as the pay they make there is scarry.So the wait to be together is hard.But we know that it will all work out in the end.

Yes it is since i put nothing lol... well let see if they care or not if they care i will know this coming week since i am one day after compuadnet. It would be sad they would return the case for a simple confusing almost in my opinion insignificant thing oh well. I will keep you people posted... one thing that get me thinking i still did not receive my AOR from Buffalo.. i guess they are slow i will be patient... i learned to be for immigration |
