Hi..
I am also waiting for the Damascus office since Oct, 6th.
Still in progress... i had my 3 months waiting anniversary last week.
I emailed them in Dec asking why i couldn't log in with my number (i am the one been sponsored) and i got an email saying i am in queue for assessment. It takes up to 6 months to finalize family class applicants but in some cases they might finish sooner.
Since then nothing..
Long wait
lets hope something will come up soon.

Hope they say something soon. I'm waiting for my wifes pr too and I haven't heard anything. Wish it only took 3 months. Maybe everyones going to get there visa's at the same time for the people who applyed in 2009. |

Hi gkarayiannis I am in going in the exact same direction as you!! I am also waiting to hear something from Damascus since October 7th. I also emailed them and they told me the exact same thing. Can you please let me know when you hear something, anything or when you are able to log in with you file number. Thnx

Hi Selena, I am not able to log in, i am loging in with my wifes (sponsor) numbers and checking the status every day but the only thing it writing IN PROCESS.... to be honest i am getting frastrated reading about people getting their visa in two or three months and i am still waiting. Dont get me wrong i am glad for them but i am jelous i want to move as soon as possible, but i guess i will have to wait. I also asked my wife to call her MP and ask him/her to get any info if they can. I read in some forums that that might help. well will see what happens from that end as well. Exactly... this is what I know too, we asked a lawer before, and he said only ( one case ) was working with it .it takes 1 year , usually less than that.
May God help us to make this things going easy and soon Insha'ALLAH..
