Hi Friends,

I am starting this fresh thread for all candidates applying under NOC 0213, knowing the job responsibilities and ither documentation is highly required to prove this NOC, so i invite all the members of this forum who have applied under NOC 0213 to share their experience and what they provided in their documentation and to new members who are going to apply under same NOC to take guidelines and tips.

Applied under NOC-'0213'

To support NOC-'0213', I have included seperate sheet and mentioned my roles and duties as an PM(IT), could match 90% what ever mentioned in CIC website, the roles and duties. Also could gather reference letters from all my previous employers and current employer ( I have full-time continues 3 yrs of exp under '0213' and overall 10 yrs) with roles and duties performed / performing.

Self assessment marks are 70.

Rest all depends on time and luck and ofcourse the IO/VO.

Full application package sent to Buffalo NY on 07-17-2009.

I tried to search for any updates for applicants under 0213 category. Anyone in this category who got sucess based on applications submitted before June 26, please update us. I got email from Buffalo and status is changed to "Received by Visa Office" in November, 2010. There is no further update after that. Please share your dates and let's keep this thread alive.

I am sorry but you CAN'T apply now.. 0213 is  no longer in the list. No even any IT profession as long as I am aware of it.

Ya, I am aware of it that we cannot apply after June 2010. I applied for NOC 0213 in Jan 2010. My timelines are:

Sent application to CIC - Jan 2010
Received response from CIC - Apr 2010
Submitted all documents to Buffalo - June 2010
Received email from Buffalo office - Nov, 2010
Current Status - Received by Visa Office.

Please share if anybody is having similar timelines or any further progress in this category.

Ya, I am aware of it that we cannot apply after June 2010. I applied for NOC 0213 in Jan 2010. My timelines are:

Sent application to CIC - Jan 2010
Received response from CIC - Apr 2010
Submitted all documents to Buffalo - June 2010
Received email from Buffalo office - Nov, 2010
Current Status - Received by Visa Office.

Thank you for your information. My NOC is also NOC 0213, which is  Computer and Information Systems Managers.

I am the owner and the general manager of a small IT company with 4 employers. We offer IT services and products, programming, web design, networking etc to other companies and individuals.
I manage the people and the systems in my company and I want to know your opinon If I am ok with this code. My duties are olmost as described to the NOC book.

My visa office is Rome and I am under Skilled worker category I applied to CIC Sydney in Jun 2010 (before June 26).
CIC first AOR in Oct 2010. Sent all document to Rome VO in DEC 2011. Had a letter in May 2011 saing: the processing times are on average 12-18 months and that will be informed approximately 2 month prior to the date of interview, if required. Meanwhile Client Application Status has changed to Received by Visa Office.
Is there anyone to share his experience with NOC 0213?

Please explain what does it mean Nominated in your status, this means Elegibility Checked or the letter they send to tell you that your doc's are received by VO..
