No, I haven't. It's unlikely that I'd get it before you receive yours. I hope we'd get it soon though. :)

Its been pretty quiet lately for the people who sent there application in during the month of Oct.

Im kind of worried abit, some of you have had your decision made in 2 weeks.  Its about 2 weeks for me now.

Also do any of you heard or know anyone who sent in there record of solemnization instead of there actual marriage certificate?  I was told by couple ppl that record of solemnization is okay, and followup with marriage certificate?  Hopefully who ever reviews my application doesn't send it back because of that one document.

I had to mail my application in before the 27, of Oct.  Marriage office says it takes 3 months to issue, hopefully its faster :)

Anyone who has sent his  initial application to CIO, then it takes about 2 months, now a days, to receive AOR.

We received our letter in the mail, and the sponsorship part was approved!  Now our application has been sent to Buffalo for further processing.

it usually takes up to a month to receive AOR. Some offices even don't send it.

hi guys,

my wife sent our application on oct 8. received letter of sponsorship approval on nov 4. they said papers have been sent to singapore for processing....

any idea wat are the chances if sponsorship has been approved. does it mean we got 50 % chance of getting or less or more?

i mean surely the officer in missisauga must have gone through my background and all other things before they approve the thing...

just curious....

thanks

Hi

here is my time Line

App submitted to M  - 3th Aug,09
Sponsership approved on - 4th OCt
Recieve AOR from Bafullo - on 29th OCT,09
Receive for Medical request of on - Nov 2, 09

Question to the Senior memebr: by recieving medical request is that a Positive sign ?? when a applicant of Family class recive medical request. is that something they ask after make the assessment of ur file ? Note: i did not send my medical request with my application.

They did not even ask for my police certificate. Note: i did not send them with my orginal application.

Here is the some background for my case. I filled Family class 3 years back. but at that time they denied it for not having some documents. it tooks almost 2 year to deny my case for the first time. This time we reapply with all proper documents.

Please advice ... reciveing medical request good sing.

Makbar24, I would say that their request for a medical check is definitely a good sign. But why not just have sent it in the first place? Same with the criminal record check.

It's little, seemingly insignificant, factors like this that really will slow down the process.

Best of luck, though, and may your application come through well!
