I talked to the CIC today and the agent told me that today they were processing cases received on October 5th, so those of you who have been lucky sure are lucky... :P

I think that they're purposefully conservative with the info they give. I checked the website on the day that my results showed on e-CAS and it also gave the date of Oct. 5, yet they received mine on Oct. 7. I think they're trying to cover and give a few days as a buffer, as to not give people false hope... |

I agree, they are definitely working past the Oct 5th applications, but I think just to be safe and cover their butts they dont post the actual dates, yet. |

YEAH!!!!!!!
I recieved my letter today and I have been approved for the sponsorship phase and my application has been forwarded to the visa office!!!!
WOW! tense moments but worth the wait! I am going to visit my husband next week and will be able to give him the good news in person!

They signed for my application UPS on Monday October 5 but they said they received it on Wednesday October 7th.
Anyway - stage 1 is successfully completed!

October 5 Sent our application to Mississauga
November 3 Recieved Letter (sent Oct 27th) stating I have met the eligibility as a sponsor and that our application has been forwarded to London Visa Office.
So excited Things are finally happening!

ECAS says that a decision was made on our application on October 29, so we are anxiously awaiting the letter in the mail. CPC-M received our application on October 13.
I know this is only the first part of the application, but the waiting game is starting to kill me!
