hello again do u think my husband can have is call soon from rabat since october our paper ther and we receive the letter that they receive the payment of 490 dollards but no call yet how much time u think it will take thx to all

seems that some people who sent their apps in october are getting some good news, yet some still wait to hear from vegreville etc, waiting sucks...me no likey  |

I also sent my appl in early october via INLAND. Somehow it seems like it has been stuck on october 3rd for 2 weeks!!!
It's really hard to wait!
Wonder what's going on in the background. Why the lag this month? its now been SEVEN months for us!

me too it now 8 month and my husband send a leeter to the embassy of rabat to know what hapening and me i went yesterday to see my deputy to ask him some question and next week he supsoe to clal em to tell me news i hope its gona be good news soon it very hard  |

are we supposed to get a response from the visa office, to say that the person who is going sponsor us has gone through, or being rejected?

Yes, you will get one. However, realize that the Inland application takes a LOT longer than the outland. From what I've seen so far, it seems like thus far your waiting period is right about average. |

Hi! I am indeed Swedish! My g/f sponsored me as a common-law partner, the process took 85 days in total. If you have questions I'll be more than happy to help out! |

Kathsimbev, I feel your pain, since your application took much, much longer than anyone else on this thread (we are still waiting for the passport to come with the visa). The reason why ours took so long is that there was a tiny problem with something in our application. The only way we found out was by applying for a CAIPS. Hence, I recommend you do the same. it'll be the best $5 you've ever spent. FYI: CAIPS is an application that you fill out and send to CIC in Ottawa. They print out your file from their internal system and send it to you. In our case, it informed us that there were some issues with them not having received a Danish Criminal Record Check. I am kicking myself now for having waited so long to find out... |
